What do you do for a living? No that’s a good thing. You make the home as in the cooking, cleaning and providing a nice calm environment. Homemaking is great | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/08/26 01:38 AM
What do you do for a living?I would imagine that you will be the "homemaker" since she's going to be working some long hours day in and day out and making most of the money. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/08/26 12:25 AM
What do you do for a living? It should matter to you honestly. But as long as he is doing the majority of the cooking, and house care. And if you want kids, will do the majority of the child care, then that’s fine I guess 🤷. It’s not dumb, it’s how the majority of women are socialized. My good friend just complained to me about going on a date and the guy doing 50/50. She and a lot of other women would definitely not want to be the majority money maker | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/08/26 10:24 PM
What do you do for a living? It’s because for the most part the guy is going to expect the women to do most of the cooking, cleaning, and also the child care. So when you add having the stress of being the main breadwinner most women would not like it at all. If I was a woman I would find it incredibly disrespectful to have to carry your partners child for nine months, and then snap back to making the majority of the money for the family. Sounds like a very bad deal. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/08/26 10:21 PM
| -4 | What do you do for a living? It’s common sense buddy. If u haven’t figured that out by age then your lost asf. Go ahead and ask your girlfriends if they prefer being the primary breadwinner in their relationship. FYI , you don’t have to experience something to understand how it works. I don’t have to chop my arm off to know chopping ur arm off is a bad idea. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/08/26 07:48 PM |
What do you do for a living?it’s not my relationship, idk if it helps bro. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/08/26 07:25 PM
The gym is meant to be a safe space not a place for men to try to hit on or date themIt’s not bitching, just calling out sum bull shit. And when u do approach and your not her exact type down to the t then u you are instantly rejected. The reason because of that is due to the massive amounts of attention you guys constantly get. Whether that attention be from dating apps, instagram or the people that do approach, because of all that u guys are pretty much instantly and constantly rejecting and barley giving anyone a chance. I’m not saying you have to like everyone that meets you… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/08/26 07:12 PM
The gym is meant to be a safe space not a place for men to try to hit on or date themIts incredibly easy to just say "well just don't try" from your standpoint, because you probably don't approach often or have never done so in your life. Its different from a guys perspective where he knows if anything is ever is going to happen he has to be the one to approach and establish contact while also considering who does and who does not like it when men approach. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/08/26 05:45 PM
The gym is meant to be a safe space not a place for men to try to hit on or date themHe is right, whenever I go out with my girlfriends almost all of them are there to just drink and have a good time and would rather not be approached by a random drunk guy. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/08/26 03:55 PM
The gym is meant to be a safe space not a place for men to try to hit on or date themNah a lot of women, my own sister included, have stated they go to parties to be with their friends and listen to good music, and don't want to be approached by random men. You women complain about dating apps, then complain about getting approached in public as well, it most be exhausting to complain so much tbh. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/08/26 03:51 PM
Apparently women prefer to be friends first, yet dread the moment a guy friend develops feelingsStyle is apart of physical attraction. The same set of clothing wont look the same/as good on another person. They look good on your partner because they are attractive. Most people in the same geographical location share the same values. For example, most big liberal cities are filled with liberal people who share pretty much the same values. If you go to a smaller red area, then you can expect the same as well. Having the same values is an incredibly low bar, and that does not get you a date a… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/08/26 03:36 PM
Apparently women prefer to be friends first, yet dread the moment a guy friend develops feelingsIts not more emotional maturity to still be friends with someone you liked but rejected you. It is perfectly fine to distance yourself from said person. Staying friends with said person and then them entering a romantic relationship with someone else right in your face, makes you look more foolish than emotionally mature. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/08/26 03:28 PM
Apparently women prefer to be friends first, yet dread the moment a guy friend develops feelingsTbh the whole emotionally intelligent thing is complete bullshit. Women are not more emotionally intelligent than their male counterparts, there are dumb women, and dumb men across the board. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/08/26 03:24 PM
Apparently women prefer to be friends first, yet dread the moment a guy friend develops feelingsAttractive is pretty much the same across the board. Conventionally attractive with similar hobbies as yourself. There's not that much diversity. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/08/26 03:18 PM
Preference to not date or marry victims of abuseWomen don’t marry for money for the most part anymore. Women nowadays make their own money. Women marry for happiness. A rich guy who you physically repulsed by is not going to make you happy. But that guy you are attracted to will. Having financials, before physical attraction leads you to be very unhappy and stuck in marriage you don’t want to be in. Also it’s a good way to get financially abused. Physical attraction is equally important for both men and women. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/08/26 02:35 PM
Preference to not date or marry victims of abusemoney is not that important when it comes to dating. If she likes you, all she wants to do is be in your presence. You could go for a walk, and that would be good. Plus everyone is feeling the pinch nowadays, so being broke is pretty normal. Not like actually homeless broke, but money is tight broke is completely normal in 2026. Exactly, some people can’t help but not being attracted to people who have been abused in the past. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/08/26 01:57 PM
Preference to not date or marry victims of abuseBeing short isn’t a choice buddy. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/08/26 12:18 PM

| – | Men who don’t approach IRL are behaving in the way they’ve been instructedbut it wasn’t my personality, it was my face. The last girl I was with, she approached when I was walking from the gym, we set up date. But I bought the wrong movie tickets for the wrong date, so we just went to the bar and Ubered to my place. Also I showed up very drunk&high and was pretty much talking shit the whole time. But we still slept together. She was rolling her eyes the whole night, but at the end of the day it’s the physical attraction that matters most, plus I don’t even look that g… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/07/26 02:04 PM |

| – | Men who don’t approach IRL are behaving in the way they’ve been instructedyou guys say ohh it must be your personality, just work on that and be kind. lol straight talking out of your ass. Personality has gotten me zero dates. All the women I’ve ever been with, either met on the apps, or met in person once and went from there. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/07/26 01:56 PM |

"Personality" and "social skills" are just attempts to moralizing dating and make lonely men feel badMisogyny reeks, yes but its not always interpreted as misogny. If a guy on reddit says something offensive to women then often times its checked as misogynistic. But irl if the guy you like or thinks is attractive say's a similar thing, then it might just come off as arrogance, or him being an asshole but not necessarily misogynistic. Also the biter dude made threats of violence to other people. And why are we assuming op is misogynistic? In my opinion Op is just visibly frustrated that a woman … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/06/26 12:33 PM
"Personality" and "social skills" are just attempts to moralizing dating and make lonely men feel badwhy don't you just tell him the truth? The biter dude probably looked better than you or was more charismatic so she let other things slide. Social skills as in charisma is very important | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/06/26 11:58 AM
