I had hoped that was what you were going for. Although now I'm curious how one could properly lead up to a white power argument. lol

refuting patriarchy = declaring racial supremacy I think I see what you were going for, but... apples, oranges.

A) Still not misandry. The feminist camp's abuse of "misogyny" has killed its power. The MRM has a chance to learn from that mistake. B) Bitching about the injustice of it all gets the MRM nowhere. Refer to my reply to tomsix where I elaborate on this.

Of course it would. But leave the kneejerk whining and impotent shaming to the feminists. The MRM doesn't have to adopt their shitty tactics. And even if they wanted to, it won't work. It only worked for feminists because they had an inbuilt gender bias working in their favor. When it comes to playing victim and soliciting sympathy, females beat males every time. The MRM has to fight its own battles, on its own terms. Men will have to develop real arguments and strategies tailored to their uniqu…

just plain misandry. LOL, no it's not. It's profiling, sure, but it doesn't mean they hate dudes.

This happens to me a lot in retail stores. I just casually point to the nearest female in the place with a big purse and say "what about her?" If there's no purse in eyesight, I ask them if they usually stop girls with bags as well, and point out that my messenger bag is smaller than most purses. All with an aloof look on my face, never confrontational. Almost 100% of the time they just sorta shrug and go "eh, I guess you're right" and wave me through. I've never had an issue. I don't resent the…

Feminism is a luxury enjoyed by women in sufficiently wealthy, technologically advanced societies that free them from their domestic and parental obligations.

Rather than start their own companies to draw and sell the comics they want to see, feminists prefer to whine and complain. Rather than start their own companies to design, code, and sell the video games they want to play, feminists prefer to whine and complain. Rather than start their own websites, feminists come to reddit to whine and complain. You see a pattern here? They're unable or unwilling to "be the change they wish to see", so they shame and nag others to change for them. This is the b…

Whose to say that more money is always better? It just seems completely arbitrary to me. Why is a harder degree and harder job for more money (and more stress) objectively better than the opposite? That one has always bothered me.

I don't think we'll see any significant behavioral changes related to modern BC any time soon. It's been only, what, 2 generations? It will be a long, long while before the pill changes our instincts. The changes you see now are purely social, the id is still chugging away underneath. It's why so many men meet last minute resistance in bed. It's why girls still don't want to be seen as sluts. These things seem illogical with contraceptives, BC, the morning after pill, and abortion easily availab…

Male sexuality is often considered disgusting, perverted, dirty and creepy. I don't understand why to be honest. Only for beta males (and, to be fair, ugly women). Even the tamest beta male sexual expression can be threatening because their genes aren't approved for reproduction. Which would probably be okay were females not so discriminating. In the sexual marketplace, I reckon the top ~10% of men enjoy similar treatment to the top ~50% of women. But keep in mind that female sexuality will stil…

If I told you that Bob was an avid snowboarder and Sally was an avid skier, would it be rational to conclude that I was implying Bob can't ski and/or Sally can't snowboard?

If you need intellectual hand-holding, you shouldn't be debating with the big kids. When someone says tacos are Mexican food, do you object "but not ALL Mexicans eat that"?

Oh, c'mon--stop being such a dolt. His argument does not preclude ALL women from being able to employ or grasp logic. Do you understand bell curves? Averages? Trends? Stereotypes? For fuck;s sake, guys, let's get it together.

"The Patriarchy" is a twisted idea, resultant of textbook apex fallacies. Stop arguing about whether it's "real" or not. It is and always was illogical bullshit that somehow was never called out.

I've been pointing out the similarities between feminists and creationists for years among friends. Emotional appeals are placed above and before reason and logic, empirical evidence/facts are actively dodged, and childish tactics (shaming, etc) are employed shamelessly to "win" arguments. I'm glad to see this conclusion is being reached independently by others in the manosphere. With any luck, we won't even need to kill the beast. Dragging it's ugly form in to the light for all to see should be…

Interesting. Fighting definitely galvanized my character as a kid. I was an outcast with distinguishing features and low self esteem. Won a few fights, the bullying stopped, I earned respect (especially from the kids I fought). I shudder to think what my life would have been like if I'd been sheltered from those experiences.

In an ironic way, my gynocentric education and upbringing helped push me toward the MRM when I finally swallowed the red pill. The "aha" moment of epiphany was much stronger than it would otherwise have been. Unfortunately not enough boys manage to see through the lies until it's too late.

Of note: Casey Anthony; HOWEVER, notice that murderous women were often desirable before they snapped. If anything, these women are attractive in spite of (or regardless of) their actions. Murderous men often don't receive this kind of attention until after they snap. They are attractive because they are dangerous. That jezebel article making the rounds even mentions that male death row inmates receive more love letters from admirers than females do. Overall, I think you're right that both men a…

It's only stupid if the girls have given them full disclosure. But from what can be gleaned from their interviews, the girls are leading men on. They are violating men's trust. Entering into a relationship, accepting one half of an unspoken transaction, then skipping out without holding up their end of the bargain... That's evil.

I should state that the photography is by Mike Byrne, from a concept set called "We Will Fight". I don't know his motivations or his intent for his work, and I don't claim to speak for him. I just saw the set on a photoblog and it spoke very powerfully to the MRA sensibilities in me.

That's really shitty, OP. I noticed that certain shops were making me check my bags (but not women ofc), so one day I just decided to stop taking it. I was asked to check my (relatively small) messenger bag at a thrift store. I pointed to a woman a few feet away with a giant purse and said "Her bag is bigger than mine." The lady behind the register just shrugged and made a "huh, can't argue with that" face and waved me past. Totally unexpected, and pleasant. I'm sorry that the woman you dealt wi…

The hand-wringing and self hate I see over "privilege" guilt troubles me. It is said that guilt is like a rocking chair--something to do, but it gets you nowhere. If feminists et al. understood the basic agent/object dichotomy at the root of their perceived equality issues, they'd spend less time bitching/shaming and more time doing. I can't grasp how a movement spanning four generations missed this. By asking anyone else to change their behavior to help improve your situation, you're being an o…

Sounds a lot like my parents' arguments. My mother screams and generally acts like a psycho, but my dad can't even raise his volume a bit to get his point across. She switches into victim mode and makes him out to be the bad guy. I've seen her push all his anger buttons--intentionally--to get him to yell, then suddenly lower her voice and paint him the raging brute.

Suggesting that they had a hand, however small, in their own suffering will make rape victims suffer a great deal more. Oh goddamnit, I really don't need to hear stuff like this. It only reinforces my impression that feminists want the ability to do whatever they want without consequence, and without regard to anyone's goals/desires/inclinations but theirs. Just when I think no group could possibly be more overtly anti-personal responsibility, I get reminded about this shit. YOU'RE MAKIN' ME JAD…

I see your point. One idea that might possibly make things better: abolish no fault divorce.

Marriageable men (read: "alpha males") have typically needed an incentive to settle down. When you're one of the 40% of men getting 80% of the action, there's no reason to limit yourself to one partner. The other 60% would love to have a bride, but why would/should the women settle? They're happy to share the few elite men. Marriage was a way to level the playing field. It reigned in female hypergamy and destructive cad behavior. Betas got to pass on their genes, women got a stable provider who …

We're seeing more single-parent children, as both divorce and out-of-wedlock pregnancy are on the rise.. There is a glut of research showing the advantages of a two-parent upbringing, though to be fair the most recent data has trended slightly back toward the middle. I suppose the stock MRA answer would be that government assistance and unfair child support and alimony laws have made it easier than ever to be a single mom. Since this is /r/MR, I doubt the findings of this study will come as a su…

Nothing wrong for the individual maybe, but the argument could be made that it's bad for the whole. The evidence certainly seems to suggest that. Monogamous pair ponding is still the best known model for creating stable, prosperous societies. Note: This doesn't need to be "marriage" per sé (see: sweden), just some form of incentivized commitment.
