If a post in SRS from over two months ago makes you a troll, then using your own logic, a lot of mr posters along with one of the moderators of the place is a secret undercover SRS troll. So yeah, another swing and a miss.

Did you seriously just scour my entire post history for the exact two posts out I've ever made in SRS out of nearly a hundred? Yeah, I sure am a hardcore SRS troll.

Truly a compelling counterpoint.

Pick one at random, and you'll probably have a good example. http://www.reddit.com/user/thingsarebad

That's a pretty bold prediction to make before much evidence is collected, or even a guilty verdict is reached.

Look up crime statistics yourself. Generally, when one makes a claim based on statistics, they typically cite them in order to back up their claim.

haha he's actually mildly entertaining if you don't take him seriously.

Yeah. This is pretty much all he does. He's not going to stop.

Seriously? Mercola? The 'HIV is harmless and AIDS is a psychological condition brought on by stress' guy? A real doctor? You're just trolling now, aren't you?

You should probably move out of West Virginia.

That was my point, smartass. You can't see that they're getting up and you can't see that they're staying down either. But they sure as hell don't get up past waist height.

That's not what the article or the video show.

Yeah. He acted appropriately and was completely in the right up until that moment.

Beating someone with a metal rod even after they're lying on the ground, incapacitated, is not self defense.

It's still pretty much 'I know a couple of dudes who totally claim that..." I don't really think someone can make the claim that this is a widespread thing.

Wouldn't it be weird if they were arrested separately, and put in/near the same cell? That would be the MOST awkward "so...whattyre in for?" conversation ever.

So all this is from a nameless cab official who said that he had some buddies who say that they're afraid to pick up women? Ok.
/r/MensRights19/10/11 03:57 PM

Not really. Data is facts and statistics, and this is more of what you think would happen in a hypothetical situation.

While engineering is harder by far, theatre isn't always a walk in the park either, even moreso at the PhD level.

So, you're more inclined find a story like this believable rather than a story about rape, because "a lot" of women lie about it? Sure, some lie about it. But, a lot more don't. I also like how you write that it's exclusively women that needlessly complain about men in a post that's needlessly complaining about women.

I think having sex with someone who's so blackout drunk that they can't remember giving consent is generally a bad idea, regardless of gender. There's a huge difference between that and "even a little tipsy"

Yes, because physical violence is totally an appropriate, sane reaction to this.
/r/MensRights10/10/11 10:01 PM

What? That doesn't even make sense. How do you get 'wearing skimpy outfit = going soft on punishment for rapists' from this?
/r/MensRights02/10/11 05:41 PM

Not really, because according to the article, the police were also targeting women who weren't even dressed in the clothes that the assailant was after.
/r/MensRights02/10/11 05:35 PM

particularly when they're lecturing women who aren't wearing clothes that the assailant targets.
/r/MensRights01/10/11 05:50 PM

Then they should warn women who are actually wearing skirts. The individual in the article was not.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
