OP claims women have a collective hive mind. OP proceeds to incite hive mind behaviors in men.

Once you choose to divorce (or have it force upon you), you no longer have full agency over what your kids are exposed to (not like you ever really did before anyway). This isn’t something you can control during a court-ordered split of custody. You just need to accept it, and spend the time you have with your kids in a valuable way. They need to know that you care about them rather than how much you care about what your ex and her new BF are exposing them to. All of that assuming they aren’t be…

Do you feel your kids are safe with her? That’s the only baseline of trust you need to maintain with her. Yes, she broke your heart. She’s attempting to sweep it under the rug. But how is she as a parent? Has her infidelity and misdeeds creeped into her ability to keep your kids safe while in her care? She won’t be the perfect parent. She will inevitably say something to them that’ll make her a hypocrite. You will, too. That’s just the life as a parent as I’ve witnessed. I don’t know that anythi…

What makes you think that being circumcised means a man can’t experience a complete orgasm?
/r/MensRights07/01/23 06:24 PM

I don’t view it as anti porn propaganda. I felt the article made it pretty clear it was for awareness. It’s pretty accurate to call porn a drug. People can easily become addicted to the dopamine high they get during arousal and orgasms. A lot of people who state they have a porn obsession say that part of their issues is spending an hour or more viewing or masturbating to porn.

Some women (and men) still have a stigma about it today because that’s what society has taught them whether they’re practicing religion or agnostic. And western society is still heavily influenced by the Abrahamic religions. If you want to think up alternate conspiracies about why it’s a practice and blame women for it, that seems like a waste of time IMO. Simple truth is, man created most religions as we know them today. Blame the religions that still practice these barbaric customs.

Porn in itself isn’t an issue. Just the same as alcohol and marijuana really aren’t issues either. They have some negative side effects, but are also mostly okay to consume in moderation. The key word there is moderation. And in regards to porn I wouldn’t necessarily say definitely that “consuming X amount of hours of porn per week ruins your life.” I would base porn moderation on each individual’s ability to rationalize fantasy from reality. What’s appalling and honestly frightening to me is ho…

I’m not sure that it’s “cause and effect” as I believe you’re implying. I remember as a teen 20y ago before internet porn really hit its stride, especially with women as this article shows, the common phrase in regards to dating was that “women are more likely to have their heart broken multiple times while men are more likely to suffer worse from one big break up”. So it seems to me, at least in western society like in America, that there’s already an established trend that, at least romantical…

That’s not obvious actually. This chain of text only proves that OP is fear mongering based off a very well articulated issue that doesn’t point the finger at any specific demographic. Circumcision is the fault of religion. Man created Abrahamic religions. Circumcision is men’s fault. The women who bought into the practice are using the religion that they were brainwashed with to justify it. At this point in human history, all those men and women are behaving like brainless peons in the name of their “god” to an extremely outdated and disgusting practice. They can all fuck right off. But in the beginning, circumcision started because of men.

I don’t understand this. Yes, circumcision is absolutely awful. Just another reason why I’m an atheist. But I don’t get what’s going on with this movement to restore foreskin, if that’s even possible without other potential health risks. This isn’t like phantom limb syndrome where you lived with foreskin for half your life before a tragedy occurred and now you have to adapt to a new life without it. Are guys that strung up about their penis that they make it part of their identity?

I agree with the sentiment that people need to stop mutilating their baby boys. I think you might have some misconceptions about circumcisions though. Sex is plenty pleasurable. And it certainly doesn’t prevent masturbation… Also, as a man likely twice your age, take it from me - don’t let the concept of sex rule your life. Mmmm I’ll have to disagree with you there because your message is starting to sound too much like “women should stay in the kitchen” to me. Western society is maturing. We’ve started to realize that individuals deserve a baseline of fair treatment. No one demographic should be catering like servants to another. If a pair of people enjoy that old school approach then by all means live your life being happy. But that doesn’t apply to all women. And I’ve definitely met men who have shown no skills …
/r/MensRights06/01/23 05:19 PM

Yeah I’m aware that’s how it too often happens now - that the man is often blamed for any altercation, or at best the authorities just say both parties are at fault. What I’m getting at is that if men want to break that stigma then we need to make these reports when they do happen so down the line statistics will better represent reality and perhaps the misperception that men aren’t victims will start to get corrected.

/r/MensRights06/01/23 12:01 PM

The consequences are dependent on what’s reported to authorities. Men need to start reporting these instances if they want to change the narrative that only assault against women gets taken seriously. When statistics of abuse against men goes up then people may finally see that this exists.

Your GF is immature and extremely abusive toward you. If she doesn’t make an immediate change cutting out this behavior and making amends to you then you ought to separate yourself from her ASAP and consider going to authorities if you feel comfortable doing that. No, there isn’t a law. That’s precisely why I stated “people are free to make their characters look like anything they want.” I’m also not saying as predominantly men here we can’t have avatars that resemble women. I felt that was stated clearly enough in my response, and I’m sorry if that wasn’t clear enough for you. Perpetuating divisiveness as you claim isn’t what I’m advocating here. Moral of the story, all people should stop justifying hitting other people. Rhonda was definitely fucked up for attacking another person during a dispute. End of the day, no charges were pressed following either instances. This is less of a men’s rights issue as much as it is as a rewiring societal perspective on when violence is okay (such as between two consensual adults).
/r/MensRights05/01/23 04:59 PM

Honestly, no. It doesn’t. People are free to make their characters look like anything they want. But I also don’t think it’s unfair to ask why. It certainly raises my curiosity if a white person makes their character look like someone with brown skin. These could be men who legitimately feel like they were born the wrong gender and are seeking a transition. That’s cool. If they’re using feminine features as a mockery of transwomen and cross dressers then no, definitely not cool. We need to have …

For an absurdly long time women in American have been treated as second class to men. Thankfully some progress for equality has been made. Continuing to compare men and women is a barrier in itself. Accepting our differences as individuals and working together to ensure the fair treatment of all is the best way forward IMO. Also, fucking gross looking at the activity of the woman who posted this on Twitter.

You’re so close… to continue this blue pill/red pill analogy, men who advocate for equality benefit from not putting sex as the top priority of their existence. Think of sex like alcohol or any other mind-altering drug. It has an effect on people where, when not consumed in moderation, can lead to very reckless decisions which hurts themselves and likely others. So as much as you think you’re at odds with other men who sympathize with the injustices women have collectively deal with, you’re real…

Out of the whole population of women, how many are actually making money off OF, IG, or any other social media site? And for those women who are making enough money to survive off these sites, how many are actually living an easy life as you claim? As for “saving the simps”, what makes you think this is an epidemic for them? Two thoughts come to my mind… 1. I’m American and so capitalism is pretty engrained into my lifestyle despite that I despise much of as I’ve witnessed what it’s done to the state of society. With that established and based on this model, there isn’t anything inherently wrong with the way some subs ban users based on their experience in other subs. What’s in this article that’s hypocritical other than Dana White himself stating that “men should never hit women.” The author did a good job highlighting where both Dana and his wife took accountability toward their actions. I don’t see anything wrong with the “framing” in this article. Even the headline isn’t an issue here. Otherwise, I absolutely agree with you. There are no excuses for violence. Thank you for the candid response. That’s the most sincere reply I’ve received here, frankly. I do disagree with you regarding feminism terminology. 90-95% of the time they seem to, or at least people don’t seem to question who’s the father all that often. (300k paternity tests annually / ~4m babies born annually)
/r/MensRights02/01/23 07:51 PM
-1

Are you familiar with “presumed fatherhood”? And again, no one is talking about kidnapping babies. The point is that fatherhood isn’t often in question at all. Paternity tests are only conducted about 7% of the time a baby is born, and that’s probably a generous estimate. So for that other 90-95% of the time when the father isn’t in question, why make DNA tests necessary?

That’s not a social consequence detailing something as taboo. It’s like saying drinking is taboo if my wife left me because she wants me to stay sober. That’s just a person being pissed off that their partner doesn’t trust them. If his community ostracized him for the request then you could claim it as taboo. But there’s no societal consensus that men asking for paternity tests is unseemly. Paternity tests are pretty common (300k annually, 2006). And pardon me for disagreeing with the construct …

When men generally make more money than women, yeah it’s pretty easy to wager that ex-husbands tend to collectively pay more to their ex-wives in settlements/alimony. However much money you think that may be, it really isn’t a relevant statistic in any meaningful way other than a correlation to how our western society is still structured so that men earn more income that women.
/r/MensRights02/01/23 07:08 PM

Seems like the general nature of this sub is to complain about women without actually developing a concise consensus on a plan to actually improve men’s rights.

How often? Often enough to mandate DNA tests?
/r/MensRights02/01/23 06:46 PM

Then there really isn’t a need to test babies to ensure they’re going to the right parents.
/r/MensRights02/01/23 06:46 PM

Same as I am - a socially prohibited or forbidden custom. Nobody is prohibiting paternity tests in America as far as I’m aware.
/r/MensRights02/01/23 06:33 PM
-1

This is interesting. Perhaps I’ll poll the sub about this. I’m willing to bet a lot of men wouldn’t consent having to provide a DNA sample because a woman claims he got her pregnant.
/r/MensRights02/01/23 06:17 PM
-2

Huh? No, the complete opposite. I don’t need a DNA test to know my son is the product of my wife and bumping uglies. That aside, perhaps there are men out there who wouldn’t mind. Why subject them to unnecessary stress if he’s willing to raise the kid regardless?
/r/MensRights02/01/23 06:13 PM
1

So you would mandate a DNA test simply because a woman claimed she had sex with him? That doesn’t sound like something many in this sub would be cool with.
/r/MensRights02/01/23 06:12 PM
-4

You have that wrong. She wasn’t told to leave him. She made that choice on her own. Anyhow, that’s one instance. Sure, there are likely other similar instances, but to say it’s taboo implies that men who want a paternity test are rejected by society when I’ve never heard of that happening in any community I’ve been part of.
/r/MensRights02/01/23 06:10 PM

So you’re in agreement that DNA tests shouldn’t be mandatory?
/r/MensRights02/01/23 06:02 PM

But I want to be the father, and so does the mother. No other man is claiming to be the father. What’s the point of subjecting everyone to DNA tests?
/r/MensRights02/01/23 06:00 PM
-1

I’m failing to see how “this is mandatory, suck it up” falls within men’s rights, but you do you.
/r/MensRights02/01/23 05:58 PM
-4

Some men may want a paternity test. Other men may not. I’m one of those men that had no interest in having a paternity test.
/r/MensRights02/01/23 05:57 PM
-14

Why bother testing a couple if they’re not interested in having the results. Who are the results for?
/r/MensRights02/01/23 05:55 PM

So you would have the government order a man to provide a DNA sample because a woman claimed that she had sex with him? How should the government proceed if the man says no?

My point is that you made a good start about how to proceed with judgment of a partner when factoring in that the behavior was in the past and does not actually affect you. Iceman is making the mistake of simplifying it to the point as if that’s the only criteria that matters. It’s poor debate etiquette because they’re jumping to such an extreme to make a point.
/r/MensRights02/01/23 02:13 PM

It makes sense because you’re comparing apples to oranges based on two specific perimeters, such as they both grow on trees and they both taste good. Oh they must be the same!… Not how inductive reasoning works.
/r/MensRights02/01/23 01:54 PM

Huh? You’ll need to elaborate on that one. You can have your preferences. Em posed a valid question though. Why does a woman, one that you’re already in a committed relationship and hasn’t otherwise given you any reason to doubt her, who has had abortions after having flings suddenly anger you?
/r/MensRights02/01/23 01:51 PM
-4

Again, use some critical thinking and stop being so obtuse. Obviously there’s more to it than simply “in the past, doesn’t effect you.” And even if someone has murdered someone else, even that’s not an immediate reason to ostracize a person from an intimate relationship for eternity. Things like what led the person to commit the murder and what efforts they’ve made to seek penance with society is contextually relevant. If you as an individually are turned off sexually and romantically after your…

Realize you’re comparing intentionally ending someone’s life to someone who was more likely than not just young, dumb, and horny (something I’m willing to bet the vast majority of men here can relate to).

You’re making a lot of assumptions about OP’s GF, insinuating that she isn’t a loving and loyal partner and saying that the only good women are submissive housewives. You might have that preference, but that doesn’t mean that’s how women should behave. Your message screams misogyny and fringes on grooming.

Yeah other than both the father and mother being assholes in the event that they both abandon an unplanned baby, you’d think the father would be pretty relieved that the mother decides to put the kid up for adoption so he doesn’t have to pay child support. Obviously the adoption game has a plethora of its own issues, but as far as men’s rights go I’d think you’d be in favor of it. It’s fucking disgusting how you were treated. Nothing I said takes away from the atrocity of the inflicted upon you by those wretched women. Generally speaking, women have been demeaned, harassed, and abused by men than any other gender statistic. Next would be male on male abuse. I’d barely call it surgery. I’ve had more invasive and painful dental surgery than the snips in my groin. You’re also continuing to blatantly ignore that tubal ligations are vastly more complicating than a vasectomy. It’s like compared pinching your finger in a chip clip vs breaking your arm falling down a flight of stairs.

Because girl power is often a result of women being abused by men in some way, and trying to fight to get their life back. Unless you’re referring to like Powderpuff Girls or Spice Girls. Then it’s mostly for entertainment. As far as the conversation you overheard, your nuking it, dude. That was playful banter from strangers. Or otherwise the woman had likely been abused by some men in her life too.

The odds of PVPS are less than 5%. Considerably less. If you can afford a vasectomy, don’t ever want kids, and plan on being sexually active you should absolutely get a vasectomy unless urologists are telling you there’s some other serious medical condition specific to you that should make you reconsider. I’ve had a vasectomy. I’ve known dozens of other guys that have too. This is the first I’ve ever heard of PVPS because it’s so rare.

Wait. What’s wrong with a women’s-focused media source making a point about the increase of suicides of women? No, it really doesn’t because vaginas are actually super resilient often being able to take back the shape they had before intercourse. Unless you’re referring to people with massive dildo fetishes who are stretching it on a daily basis? Most vaginas aren’t put through rigorous stretching like that. The size and shape of labias are almost entirely genetic, but can change form during big events like vaginal child birth. Mmm no she’ll take into account that you won’t be present to raise the kid. You do realize that my first remark wasn’t disputing u/RealityLivesNow’s comment regarding the hypocrisy of people in general using body shaming as an insult, yeah? If that's a common misconception people have about you, it's likely your fault. Hey yeah ya know that makes sense. It’s like how since men tend to be the offenders of the majority of reported sexual assault cases it’s likely your fault if a woman ever thinks you’re unsafe to be around. 🤦‍♂️🙄 She gets to keep the child, and she gets money from the father to help raise it. To make it fair, there should obviously be a time limit for the father to opt out, just like there's a time limit for abortion…

What’s the point other than perpetuating body shaming? We all know (or should know) it’s wrong. There’s no reason to point out the hypocrisy we’re all already aware of. But if you insist on doing so then it’s absolutely reasonable to point out other fallacies anytime someone uses body shaming, whether against a man or woman, other than that it’s simply not true that the way genitalia looks has anything to do with a person’s behavior or morality.

Yes, a woman ought to have 100% autonomy in making the decision whether to have an abortion. That doesn’t mean it’s an easy decision to make. It might make the most emotional, financial, medical, intellectual sense than the alternative of raising a baby as a single mother, but it still isn’t just some willy nilly automated check in the box type of decision. I get the impression that you guys are glossing aside any negative side effects that the woman might deal with. As to what seems morally fai…

I don’t face that issue as a man because I know that I haven’t committed heinous acts like that. I also don’t lump myself in a category of all men because it’s a silly concept. Just because you’re deciding to ignore it doesn’t make it any less relevant. At the end of the day, as a man with a penis and testicles your sperm is your responsibility. The issue with your POV here is that you’re treating feminism as a single established party. There are official feminists groups, yes, but those don’t speak for all people who support the fair treatment of women. No differently that all men in a men’s rights forum are a misogynist, even though some of the most vocal are. Whatever the case, my hope for all involved here is that folks realize that the purpose of feminism and men’s rights isn’t to put down differing gender identities. Like, I can’t fathom that the percentage of men who experience a false claim of being a pedophile for being out in public with their child is very significant. You’re nuking the concept of a kid obtaining crazy fun magical powers to change into a mythical cuddly creature with the idea that children will learn that it’s okay to sexually molest one another if it’s in the vailed disguise of being cute.
