Maybe I should clarify, I just watched a video about male power fantasy. I was thinking along those lines. Sorry for those who didn't understand. What I'm saying here is that the problem isn't sexual. Their sexual life is just an expression of who they are and the fact that they value feeling powerful more than being decent human beings is a serious problem. Tldr: sex isn't the problem, shitty men are

Developing a kink later in life without having any repressed childhood trauma doesn't mean, necessarily, that you are completely well. This could be a sign that something else is wrong. If you suddenly develop a kink and it isn't something that is healthy in the long term (please, please do your research), then you might want to speak to a professional about it. (Therapist, psychologist, you get the idea.) Twitter is great. Reddit is great. Neither of those is a substitute for ten plus years of …

He doesn't seem to realize that maybe these men couldn't and wouldn't give her what she's looking for, even if she was every box on his list? They would still be trying to talk her down, telling her that she had too many standards. Really, what women need collectively, is more standards, not fewer. (Honestly, he sounds upset that his girl didn't want to do x, y, z, whatever that happened to be. So, he's blaming her for the loss of his relationship, when really, he was the problem all along.) It sounds like he couldn't stand himself out of a relationship. (Status chasing? codependency? There's a lot of issues he could be dealing with here, but it's a round of red flags for all.) It could also be that no one else could stand him for longer than an average of three months. (Ooft) Is he counting girls he was just texting as relationships? It doesn't count how you feel about someone until you've actually asked them out. (Being the girl in a one-sided fantasy relationship is awful, just i…

I'm going to second everyone else here, why is this marketed towards women? Aren't we all taught to *sacrifice* from an early age? They need to teach the men that line a little bit, same with modesty.

I mean, personally, I'd prefer rubies to diamonds, or maybe even a full set of some nice Tanzanite. (Earings, necklace, the works) That said, I feel like the point of this, is that it's something you can pawn if you suddenly find yourself without your guy and need to sell things to make ends meet. So, a nice ring is key, or perhaps, a more moderate ring supplemented by other forms of a financial buffer. You don't have to wear all your money.

This sounds like someone young coping with a first rejection, a first breakup. They haven't yet come to the realization that different people can want different (but still healthy) dynamics in their relationships. This means that someone can be 'your type' without being the right person for you. This also means that you can be someone's type without being right for them. I think that it's more likely that there are far more cases of rape and assault that are labeled as something far more benign. Even if the person in question doesn't label it as rape, it's still traumatic.

Thank you all for validating my perception of this. People always talked about how it's only twenty percent of women, but the more I talk to people and get to know them, the less I believe that's accurate. Birds of a feather ... she needs to be very very careful of Brad. I wouldn't bet that any man is better than his friends or his immediate family. If a man's father cheated, then you can probably expect him to cheat. If his brother is a creep, expect him to be. If his friend is a rapist, expect him to be. (Obviously, some people do go off the rails. A man being a good father doesn't mean that his son is going to be 'good' as well, it just makes it more believable)

Okay, from reading the context, he gave her fifty dollars and she spent only $200 on furnishing and pantry items? Honestly, if that's the real dollar amount, then I'm impressed. $200 usd is like a first grocery run when you move out for the first time.
