There could be a number of different reason for why an officer would need to use both his hands, silly. Not every situation is the same, dude. The officer might have to receive multiple objects from the driver at once, they might have to reach to the passenger to retrieve their information, the officer could probably just be resting his hands on the window, etc. If you assume that handing the driver a piece of paper is all that an officer does at a stop than you have never been pulled over befor…

I think you either misread or are misrepresenting my comment, I said Hands, as in the plural sense. If both of your hands are trapped, then unless you know how to shoot with your toes, you're fucked.

A taser, handgun, and radio to call for backup can't do shit if some crazy asshole traps your hands in a window, silly. Simple common sense says that if an person is put into a situation where they can't get to their means of protection, than said protection is absolutely useless. Anyone wouldn't feel safe in a situation like that.

If this is indeed the law in some areas, it seems rather silly, if an officer does not feel safe putting his hands in an unknown vehicle with an unknown person, he should absolutely have the authority to require that you either role down your window all the way or to step out of the car. It would avoid endangering both parties by muddying the interaction with misunderstandings that could lead to one of said parties being hurt or even killed. At least that's how I see it. WAAAY too many facial piercings. A tasteful lip or nose ring is one thing, but when it gets to the point where my cell phone starts to get better reception whenever you're around, you might be overdoing it.
