2	To change or not change your personality Salient point on the people can/don’t change perspective. But I’m not asking “can I?”, I’m asking “is it really the only way out for me?”. I have to believe that someone like me wouldn’t have to change in order to be happy. There’s nothing inherently wrong or immoral about being self-conscious, so what’s the justification for changing other than just that it’s better if I wasn’t?
