We privatize our gains and socialize our losses in the US. This is one time I'd prefer this to the alternative.

To use the old market quote- The best time to learn was 20 years ago, but barring that, the best time is now.

Sadly, none of this is possible under Title IX.

Maybe this is the first glimpse of self-realization she's ever had?

Ok, I know I'm gonna regret asking, but the username... did you pick it for any specific or personally significant reasons? 🤔

Correct. A basic understanding of statistical expectation is all you need. Very few men find good women and keep them in such a broken system. It's a problem, since every woman puts herself out there as that one good woman, too. The false advertising is so bad that I'm surprised that the FTC hasn't laid down legal guidelines, yet. MGTOW.

Does it seem odd that it's a GRADUATE scholarship for PRE-MED studies? Seems odd.

The audiobook was absolutely stunning. Wil Wheaton narrated it.

If you're interested in cooking, take the next step. Any opportunity you get to try a new flavor, do it. Try everything. Ask yourself what it reminds you of, was it earthy, bright? What was its texture like? Are there other ingredients that you can think of that you might like to try with it? Then add them next time. Learning about cooking is experiential.

To be fair, women suck at ordering from a restaurant, too. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've heard, "Oh, you always know what to prder. That looks delicious!" I swear they just look at the price. Don't even get me started on pairing... the day I let a woman pick the wine I order will be my last day on Earth. Frankly, if they had the palate to understand complex flavor profiles and the slightest creativity or interest in food (beyond it being either chocolate chip ice cream or a …

Just for fun, when some woman starts giving you crap about your choices, tell her she's oppressing you, that being asexual makes you part of a protected LGBTLMNOP category, and that she needs to take her hate speech elsewhere. Could be fun!

This needs to be updated to add the new national rape statistics from yesterday that show that men are sexually assaulted more often than women.

If you want crime stats, the FBI posts them every year. Newsflash, it isn't even close. They even redefined rape in 2015 to make their definition more widely applicable. It still isn't close.

"I have concluded that a relative deficiency in abstract thinking may explain many thing that are typically African." AWALT, and apparently in many ways like Africa.

I enjoyed it. It was actually pretty even handed, overall. The director desperately attempts to give feminists a chance to respond, but when they just roll over their usual talking points about the patriarchy, she's finally convinced that the male activists are right. 8/10.

"In such a linguistic system, the concept of linear progress of time, geometric shapes, and even conventional methods of description, are lost altogether or altered. In her example of a specific indigenous yam, Lee explains that when the yam moves from a state of sprouting through ripeness to over-ripeness, the name for each object in a specific state changes entirely - the description of the object at different states of development relates to wholly different perceptions of the object. Ripenes…

Then simply curate what you watch. Find a way (there are several out there-- Youtube, Netflix, Kodi with Exodus, etc) to simply change your viewing from watching whatever is on to watching in an on-demand fashion where you intentionally choose what you're watching. Do not sit in front of a device which continues to spoon feed you garbage. You are not a network employee, so don't let them control your choices.

Wow, so the moment someone made the story about her, allowing her to be in the limelight, she jumped in the sack with them. Wow. AWALT.

I love how the court stated that as a mitigating factor she wasn't a risk to anyone. Wow. I'm not sure I'd have come to the same conclusion.

Have fun with it. Take her to HR for racial discrimination. It'll be an interesting turn of play for her. I promise.
