Does anybody have more information on who Roissy is or what he looks like? I am inclined to think is some sort of PUA librarian or douche-nozzle. I could be wrong, but I am too lazy to research and find out if walks the talk.

I feel like this was written by an AFC, and, in my opinion, won't really register with its target audience. Those kinds of girls are engaged through emotional means. Those "bad guys" are doing the things that get an emotional response from these girls, and this sort of sharp-tongued, albeit logical and rational, piece will be of little influence.

Go for it. You will not die.

Not only that, but being in high school and college is the arena where you seriously develop these skills. Rather than technically reframing your mind, I would suggest to take snippets of this information, and try to become a natural at it. Then at 22/23 come back after those skills have been formed innately, and contemplate using this stuff. The kid, at that point, may not even need it.

Quick side-reddit-question: What does befriending people on Reddit do?

First, great job on writing this. There is some very valuable information in here, IMO, and it really aligned with my own views (image that). I did indeed read it to the end, and saved it for future reference. Second, you came out of nowhere with the AMOG question, especially under the context of how you mentioned how you view other men as "not a threat". This is, I think, the best way to deal with any encounters of AMOGing. By not responding to the "alpha males" attempt to out-do or "alpha" you…

What in your opinion, Silver, is the connection between the two?

...to get a sweet bunk bed? What?! Ahh, just kidding. Great post. Makes me make sure I don't want to fall into that trap.

All of this absolutely true.

And, thanks for inputting. But, it would be great to have elaborated on your encounter. Not only can it provide you with (better) critiques and new ideas, but, as tenebrism mentioned, a way for new guys learn from your routine and find a foundation on how to go out and sarge.

Am I only the one that thinks this shit should not be in the sub-reddit? I hate this DLR stuff.

I think you will find the individuals who study PUA material are (for the most part) genuinely down to earth and ambitious people. In other words, we have a robust personality that a lot of, if not all, women would really be glad to be in a relationship with. The problem is that we have less than a minute to pitch our personalities to a complete stranger and get them hooked. And then, if it turns into relationship, there are faux pas in the dating world (i.e. being to needy or easily jealous) th…

Yea, i've really tried to weed out clubs. You cannot listen to who you are talking too. I've gotta start hitting up the coffee shops.

On the fourth point: I think the larger issue is that some women don't want to be robbed of the romantic illusion they've constructed from the traditional progression of courtship, i.e. Disney fairy tales. But, that's just my opinion.

I think Horatio was referring to Dane cook, gaylord. Edit: obligatory re-reference.

Yea. What about making a representative account for our community. Make the password known to Seddit members (specifically who we see post quite often), and do a Q&A on that account. Although, we gotta make sure we're all on the same page on how to accurately respond to the questions. And, then comes the questions on whether it's worth the time. I just feel that a lot of Redditors are completely misjudging the goals of this community.

When I get a chance, I am going to get a rough draft together of what should be on there and post it to Seddit for your guys' suggestions.

It was me. It's a part of the canned openers I use. I also got another good one from a wing: Dog Opener: "So, I am thinking about getting a dog, and I was asking my buddies about what to get. Now, I really like Beagles, and that's what Im almost set on. But, my buddies said girls might think that's gay. They said I should get a big dog, like a Labrador or German Shepard. What do you think?" Used it on two sets tonight (both with 3 girls+), with great results. Should field test a little more thou…

I'm gonna field-test that one next time I go out. It's a topic women would be quick to spout their opinion on. Although, I think I'd prefer to cut it down a bit. I tend to prefer quick openers. Edit: Thanks Tenebrism for keeping this subreddit alive.

Ensure that you have bonding time either prior or after the movie. You will gain no rapport if you don't seek those opportunities because you need that alone time to flirt, develop attraction, and escalate. The movie will not be opportune for such motives.

Indeed. This kind of down-to-earth attitude about meeting people, in general, really resonates with me and allows for easy translation of PU skills into other arenas outside of just the opposite sex.

Don't really agree with calling Tenebrism's FR as not picking up. But, thanks for the FR anyways. And, he's right that we need more FRs on here. It'd be great to see some posts other than links to seduction blogs, how-tos, top 10 lists, etc.

Great article to get people's gears going on getting out there and approaching women, but, goddamn, if I think their no. 1 is a horrible opener. Overhearing bait? That kind of mentality breads more AFCism IMHO.

I cannot support this enough. Nothing. Nothing--has improved my daily attitude and carpe-diem-zeal like starting the day off at the gym.

I honestly thought this whole ex-girlfriend/Christmas tree story was some sort of funny routine considering the drama and soap opera feel to it. I'm gonna have to use it some time--thanks!

I cannot agree enough with your post. Situations are always different and always manageable. That minor interruption a guy does to woman studying at a coffeeshop can always turn out to be "the best thing to ever happen to her", if he should be so smooth, entertaining, and funny. Bottom line is that it is exactly what you said: Written by a paranoid, delusional, previously molested feminist I am quite confident that if I were to poll the women I usually hang out with they, too, would agree that s…

Thanks tommy. Been a lurker here for about a month, and this is the kind of stuff that will hopefully revitalize this sub-reddit. Great FR.

I'm sorry but this shit is so off topic as to what this sub-reddit is all about. Those twenty minutes or more you spend will be far better utilized gaining a stronger self-actualization by developing those social skills. What will he really gain by writing in a journal and contemplating his feelings? Take those "learnings", and compare to what he might value from going out and becoming a more social being (be it with women or other dudes) and meeting new people. New friends, new relationships, n…
