Desensitization is not actually the same as unlearning phobias. You merely create new neural networks that repress the fear response. However, many people experience fear relapses after a while. Actually there is a more promising way to deal with social anxiety -- Expose yourself to a fear inducing situation and then disrupt memory reconsolidation. There are two known substances that are currently studied in this context: Propanolol (Beta blocker) and D-Cycloserine (antibiotic). http://brainblog…

I think you're projecting a bit here. Like she wrote, she has a strong male side and is kind of a nerd and basement dweller. To me that sounds like she really doesn't quite fit into the mold and is a bit of a freak (and apparently cosplayer). Don't think this specimen necessarily represents other women's behavior as discussed on TRP.

Joe's got a good heart. He calls her out for bullying others.

Anyway, the thing I learned out of that episode is that it's safer to stay away from (alleged) rape victims. Sad truth, Paul tried to be her best friend and emotional tampon, but ended up getting accused of rape.

The way they text is really embarrassing for an Ivy league student.

That's exactly the reason why the Muslim world feels threatened by the West, and why they retort terrorism as a way of defense against our aggressive cultural norms destroying their societies.

"Sexual personae" is her most famous work, but most explicitly redpill is probably "Sex, Art, and American Culture". Her writing style is highly entertaining too.

Thanks for this analysis. It should be added that Zemmour is Jewish himself and that allegations of antisemitism against him are absurd. I also don't understand why the leftists are siding with Islam wherever they can, especially considering the patriarchal and anti-gay nature of the latter. It's an important book that has opened the eyes of many people. The goal of feminism (in it's current form) is not equal opportunity, but deconstruction of the core family and thus Western society. This has …

Exactly! Controversy sells, no one is offended by sex anymore. I think it's quite calculated move, still disgusting for using children. Made me sick!

Yes, it's complicated. PKK is classified a terrorist group because Turkey pushed hard for it. However, at the same time the Turks are supporting ISIS to fight against Assad in Syria.

I deeply respect the YPG fighters in Kobane. They are risking their lives to fight against a real enemy who threatens ALL of us. Many of these women have families themselves, they are mothers and soldiers. You see it in their faces, so much dignity and rough beauty. They don't want privileges, they want to fight among the male soldiers like equals. They have repeatedly proven that they can carry their own weight, even fighting more ferociously than any man could. The reality they are living in i…

Camille Paglia is a true hero. You should read her books. I wish all women were more like her. She is the Queen of Red Pill!
