Providing for a family is supposed to be an honor because it is our natural role. It's what nature carved out for you. The men who find this an honor are correct to see it that way, even if they're misguided. The aspect of family dynamics which is no longer honorable is completely artificial. It looks like women teaching their daughters to twerk on tiktok. It's not very popular to say this, but, maybe more traditional cultures like Islam have one or two things they could teach us about the prefe…

I can't say for certain that I have a solution, but I suspect there are only three possible solutions: Revolution. I consider this the least likely possibility. American men like us will rise up and reclaim our status. Single moms with fake middle management jobs will be found useless and fired.--This is also the possibility that is most likely to be televised as something that is changing for the better while it is not. Historically, these social dynamics don't change, they whole fucking system…

In her head, you're a proud, selfish braggart. Your focus is on tallying the minutiea that give you self-worth. Rather than having and being for greater things than yourself and your own vices, you focus on what you want. When you think of others it's about what you are owed or what you stand to gain... Of course all humans do this, but you're exceedingly efficient, no doubt, according to her. That's likely what she would say if she were here.

Don't do it bro. Read the book Attached by Levine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7fdGa4KcTy0 Do this instead. Realize the reason you are reaching out for attention is low self-worth. Focus on the cause of the desire. Transcend the bullshit.

Do so, but be kind and careful. Her reaction will be traumatic and unpredictable.

It was over the day I met her. I thought she was wonderful. It turns out she was a snake. Lesson learned.

I was taken aback. She underwent a metamorphosis. By the time she betrayed me, I couldn't even recognize the woman in front of me. I've spent months pondering the events that led up to our separation. I've concluded that the change in her personality was more chemical than psychosocial. She had gone off birth control, was drinking and smoking heavily and eventually became pregnant with another man's child. The real tragedy here is that the story she has been forced to narrate will forever ensure…

Nah, she doesn't give a shit. If she does, it's because she hates me. I did talk to mom. She's sad.

I, for one, am less gullible. It's strange. I'm simultaneously less trusting of those around me and less trusting of my own thought process. Anyone else experience this?

Please see Briffault's law and "The light-switch effect" based on said law. The reason your wife is now a different person is almost more a matter of chemistry than psychology.

I have lists of lists. I have calendars and planners, each with different lists. If using planners helped significantly, I'd be the first to know it.

No. Don't bother. They're not interested in truth. They're interested in the happiness of their family member. If that means believing a fabrication, so be it. If humans were rational, we wouldn't have divorces.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
