Yeah but hypergamy as a theory isn't limited to PA but SMV.

That's a false dilemma though: feminism is absolutely ridiculous when it comes to silencing men. I used to be a liberal feminist by definition. I think a lot of MRAs used to be as well. Honestly, that's what's why MRAs are so vehemently anti-feminist; because feminism is built on these ridiculous epistemological commitments that exemplify the WOW effect in conjunction with the "women are always victims effect." As a result, these poor brainwashed kids end up being the laughingstock and horror of…

What these White Knights don't understand is that there is NOTHING to hold together, that their attachment to circumstance prevents them from ever having a good attitude towards women. I love this post and it's demonstration of "it was just your turn."

There was a post about how women can't even relate to male incels - I don't know if you've read that one, but let me help you out a little: Imagine you are a 16-year old boy; you've been told your entire life to respect and befriend women and that women are special little snowflakes that need to be treated accordingly. You have several female friends that you are "kind and sensitive" towards, but never have any sort of sexual attraction. You are frustrated because all you want is a meaningful re…

You honestly think that incels are a fringe group? Most incels I know are literally just normal guys - SMV 5-6, don't get me started on the SMV 1-4 guys

Mu or the negation of the proposition is the word that is a pretty good way of expressing what true equality is like for all people.

There have been many, many unsurmountable odds in humanity's history that have been overcome. Specifically, societal odds. I think my solution can be simply put as this: society is made up of individuals. If we can convince more men to become MGTOWs, then gynocentrism would lose its power.
/r/MGTOW18/04/15 09:21 PM

That would be a real patriarchy, or female totalitarian regime in which those men are enslaved. Somehow, I feel like if there were 10 men left on the Earth, somehow hypergamy would still force 7-8 of those men not to have any sex.

It's as if you don't think the definition of a word changes based on the community that uses it changes. See my other replies in this thread, too lazy to repost.

In your sense of the word red pill, I most certainly agree with you but why should my definition be wrong? There is no universal collection of beliefs terminology referred to as 'red pill.' I believe that term is referred to as 'logic' or 'common sense.' The way I see it, Red Pill beliefs are very much distinct from the Red Pill Framework that TRP narrates. I generally don't refer to them as Red Pill beliefs but more as Manospheric beliefs.

And this is exactly what I mean too. Funny how language creates these unnecessary barriers between people. And funny enough how the feminists want to change our language to create these barriers. Edit: and thats why I made the distinction between RP and MGTOW. RP, for me, seems to care a little top much about its framework. I guess, I'm just a freethinking hippie.

I think that's why I made the distinction between RP and MGTOW. Apologies to some people in this thread who have missed what I was trying to say (this is 100% my fault for not being clear)

I can't say that MGTOWs speak really for me as a person. Sexual strategy for me is important, but its not something that I consciously think about that much. Most of the time, I find myself focusing on my studies (I'm a math major and damn proud of it), reading, and playing basketball with friends. I think that I mean is the "trying" to be the best version of yourself often leads us astray, as we try so hard to be alpha, but we're just copying someone else's alpha, and not our own. You see what …

I think I feel the same way, and your comment about the type A type B personalities was on point with what I believe too. I think a quote that really stuck with me was the Stanford mathematician and philosopher Smullyan's comments on the bifurification of passivism and activism in which the assumptions that we make that we are not a part of nature is unfounded. His philosophy seems to mirror the philosophy of a Eliot Hulse, who believes alpha energy is beta and omega energy together. Now I am no…

You are free to interpret your place in the world and the response you have to it, just as everyone is. That others might not choose to respond in the way that you consider most virtuous is your problem, not theirs. You may have taken on the mantle of being a social justice warrior for male rights, but you don't get to make that decision for others. If you wish to judge people negatively for refusing to jump on your bandwagon, that's your privilege. So because someone wants to change something b…

What the hell does that even mean? There is such a clear distinction between MTGOW disgust with gynocentric society and RP rationalizations of being the baddest alpha around. The only way man can be truly free is if he focuses on what he really wants to do instead of pleasing women all the time. The very act of measuring one's self-worth by how many bitches you get/quality of said bitch is gynocentric. Period.

I don't ever want to forget about the guy at the bottom of the ladder. Even if he is misguided, I still have this soft soft for guys like that. He's just as much influenced by society as I am. "only a fool tries to change the world, but a wise man changes himself" right? where did this bifurcation of self and world come from? to me, it seems like only a fearful excuse.

See, my question that I propose for those feminist soc. constructivists is how do they answer the claim that there are innate, biological differences between men and women? edit: to be clear, I am not 100% siding with the essentialists, but to a degree, I am wondering how patriarchal theory would fair underneath both. Oh, and to answer your question, somewhere close to 64% male. edit: formatting: below is some evidence For instance, the documentary Hjernevask made some compelling arguments to su…

http://www.iep.utm.edu/fem-epis/#H2 Well I was reading this article which showed that gender roles were associated with objectivity and subjectivity. I guess one large criticism of feminist analytics is that their social construc. perspectives ignores biology. In fact, most of feminist analytics is built off shit like this.

Can you provide some examples? My degree is mostly focused around philosophy of mind and ethics, I really dunno about feminist Phil. I tried viewing old threads in askphilosophy, but they censored all of the dissenting perspectives.

This is a silly attempt at a reductio ad absurdum. I'm done here, I think. If you want the data and evidence behind TRP tenets, I suggest actually looking at the sidebar material in TRP first.

Many RP tenets are entirely empirical. In fact, don't take my word for it, why don't you try and observe it for yourself.

Have you considered that the statistically concentrated increase of QOL benefits people who were worse off, (I.e. men, women weren't so worse off to begin with.) But no, you still enjoy mixing up your causations like a poison Kool-aid. Drink up.

I think you're missing the point. I love that you're so reductionist that you're generalizing suicide rate towards the quality of life for a particular gender. Quality of life has always been lower for men then for women, (homelessness, suicide (in comparison to women), the fact that 70% of women attend college vs 60% of men). However, it doesn't mean that the feminisation of society is the direct causation of the lowering of suicide rates! Have we considered the drastic improvement in QOL over …

Note: this does NOT mean go off on a tangential journey on some 'find yourself' bullshit, it means that through your personal journey for improvement IS the spiritual journey. “The only Zen you find on tops of mountains is the Zen you bring there.” - Pirsig So therefore, just pick something, anything, as the top of your mountain and go with it. It doesn't really matter where you're going, as long as you're going SOMEWHERE. Another Pirsig quote (he puts these words so together so well): “It's the…

From a Daoist's perspective, there is so little yang in the universe that a man MUST be centered and he must be like a stone in running water or else the yin energies of the water will pull him apart. He is still flexible and pragmatic, but always returns to his true center. How does this apply to TRP? Simple in terms of mentality. You have a center that is rock solid, but much of everything else can be changed. Hell even the center can be changed. The irony lies in trying to separate yourself w…

I think people try really really hard to find the specific talking points to confirm their own bias about TRP or TBP. If you're really wise, the solution is always just to be present enough to recognize that both sides are too reductionist and to live your life in a PP way.
