Do it now and don't wait. By waiting, you will essentially be lying to him. Exams or not, that's not fair to him. Just be kind, explain kindly that your lives are going in different directions and that you don't see it working long term, and he will be fine. This clearly isn't working for you. As you continue to date, I strongly recommend avoiding men that are still in school or are in a job hunt. You need a guy with an established career who is ready for the next step. I learned the hard way th…

Cool, yeah, thinking of taking a direct approach. He likes directness and actually asks me to be more direct on a regular basis. He's being direct about the fact he wants to propose, so I'm thinking of just matching his energy.

Delve into your strengths, talents, and hobbies. If you have a social hobby, this may actually help you meet someone with similar interests. I would also strongly recommend dating apps. As someone who struggled with falling for guys that did not meet my standards and then felt trapped once I caught feelings, the apps are a great way to non-emotionally filter mismatches out before an attachment is formed. It also helps eliminate the scarcity mindset that meeting people in person alone can cultiva…

I'm also non-religious, and religion was a major dealbreaker for me when I was looking for my guy. There is no way I would step foot in a church or date or marry a religious guy. Makes it harder to find someone with more traditional values, but not impossible. I found my boyfriend on Hinge by using the paid advanced filters. He's agnostic but more traditional, so they definitely exist. If you aren't getting matches and you live in a well populated area, I would re-evaluate your profile and make …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
