My job often requires long periods (6 months) of 70-80 hour weeks. My suggestions for keeping some semblance of balance are: Join a 24 hour gym. You can/will/need to muster a half hour of exercise every couple of days, both for your physical and psychological help. Exercising at 11pm or later is rough, but totally worth it if that's all you can fit in. Make it clear to your friends that just because you have to say no most of the time doesn't mean you don't want to be asked so that in the rare c…

I read this as "Should I get her pregnant" and though "what a stupid fucking question"

Seduce the group. Ask to borrow the friend, move to a better location, take care of it. 99% of the time, the k-close is premature if you haven't even had a chance to isolate your target.

Probably something along the lines of "I hate when I can't get a good looking guy out of me head, either". Really, 99% of the responses you threw at her from this point on would end in no response, anyway.

I much prefer: "I figured since you're already thinking about me, we might as well go grab a drink"

Don't chalk this one up to a bitch shield, you just had zero connection with her beforehand. Why would she respond? That text opener only works if it fits your personality, and she doesn't know if it does or not yet.

"Dude, you're pretty wasted. How about you sit this one out?"

Be the exception, not the rule.

Seriously. If he thinks seduction is only for single men, he's missing the point. You should seduce your significant other while in a relationship. You should seduce your boss when you're working (not like that). You should seduce everyone around you because sex and a relationship is an outcome of the game, but it's not the only outcome.

Clingy, needy, desperate for attention? Sounds like my type.

"Hey, I'm sorry but something came up and I can't make it tomorrow. I don't want to be a complete ass and just blow you off, so are you free tonight?"

Your genius idea is anything but. This girl has nothing in her past to suggest she wants to share. She wants to control, and now that she can't, you're hearing from her. A bird in the hand is better than a bird in the bush, or something like that (come to think of it, it's a bad use for seddit- every guy prefers the bush to the hand). What you really need to do is wait it out, and if you and the other girl break up eventually, DON'T go running to this chick. Make her think she still needs to wor…

People here are giving really bad advice. If it was me, my response would be "you're not my type either. But I'm single, so clearly my type is not working too well"

True story, about a year ago my buddy got called out by a girl at a bar while he was trying to wing me. "That's from that book that teaches you how to get women to fuck you, isn't it?" It wasn't, but she thought it was. Didn't matter, I still closed the friend.

So here's a trap I often fall into. I work in the political field. Which means frequently I either have to explain what I do (which falls into the no-no territory), or I avoid talking about it and come across as "aloof". It feels like a lose-lose. Any advice?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
