i thought it was pretty accepted that downvoting is not supposed to be used in disagreement with a comment/post or a difference of opinion on reddit. not to say that this isn't what most downvoting is here or elsewhere.

yes i am a feminist extremist. you found me out. just because i choose not to argue with you on reddit (and get a bunch of downvotes because people disagree with me) does not make me an extremist or a fundamentalist. i'm pretty sure i'm in more moderate territory in believing that the civil rights movement in the US cannot be compared to the men's rights movement as portrayed on this subreddit.

look i don't have time or the desire to pick this apart, but you have a skewed view of feminism and are citing the more extreme fringes that most modern day feminists do not subscribe to. and i'm no more a feminist than a "masculinist" (new term to me for which i must thank the OP). i'd be the last person to deny false rape claims are despicable, but you have got to be on some serious shit if you are comparing the women over men oppression to the white over black oppression that have caused thei…

dude, that's insane. you're seriously comparing feminism to the institutional racism in the US that caused the need for the civil rights movement? for starters, say what you will about feminists, but feminism is not based on the idea that men are lower beings so it's cool to deny them rights when we feel like it. feminists don't go around lynching men. men come from a stance of traditionally holding more power than women. feminists "fight" most often for equal rights. feminists don't embrace hat…

I have a feeling that if Susan B Anthony were alive today, the phrasing might be different on that quote. The times are different in how women are treated and back in her day I would support that quote, and I'm a guy and very much for equal treatment between the sexes. I'm no expert in history, but I'm pretty sure Susan B Anthony was not for female dominance over men.

oh my god i'm such a monster...unless her article is jam packed with logical fallacies sentence after sentence. i mean seriously? willful suspension of disbelief kind of breaks down when every step taken in this argument against PIV (or sex as we call it here on planet earth) requires it and is clearly illogical or false. it's completely transparent that the assertion that intercourse is bad was formulated first and then some very loose supporting ideas were created. i stress "created" here. ser…
