Depends on who you are. If you are a women then you used to be exempt due to gender. If you are physically unable to then you can get a pass. If you don't believe in war then you would be put into the domestic workers program.

To maintain the right to vote women legally have to be included in the draft. The only reason men have to is because we have agreed to the social contract that if needed we have to serve in the military. There is already a supreme court ruling on the legality of the draft/selective service and the only reason women were not included is because at the time they were not allowed into combat roles. I personally am against chivalry due to its outdated code. Chivalry was only for the upper class and was for the times. Women want equality now and chivalry is inherently unequal. The supreme court ruled that since we have the right to vote we also have the obligation to serve the military in selective service. Women were exempt, since at that time the military had decided they cant serve in combat. Since the military has changed their mind women are now obligated to be added to the draft to keep their right to vote. Did any one else notice the age of the starting gal and the ending gal? I think it pretty much falls upon the basic principal of free speech. If one gets uncomfortable from it then, In my opinion, too bad.
