As a woman I wholly stand and support and abide by the men’s rights movement, however because you guys are starting to reach the mainstream more and more you will be met with public resistanceYup. That's probably the political economy of feminism. | /r/MensRights | 21/12/22 01:21 AM
so this is what the UN considers good?I take the conclusions of studies in the social sciences as suggestive, not incorrigible. Often, the force of my intuition and personal experience on a matter is so strong, that I feel like there must be something off with the study/survey/data. | /r/MensRights | 21/12/22 01:00 AM
As a woman I wholly stand and support and abide by the men’s rights movement, however because you guys are starting to reach the mainstream more and more you will be met with public resistanceI agree that misandry is unnecessary in a women's right movement. However, I think we need to give credit where credit is due. Plus, if we acknowledge feminist contributions to women's rights (whilst not ignoring their crimes), some fence sitters might appreciate the intellectual honesty and that might dampen the knee-jerk resistance that many have towards MRM. | /r/MensRights | 20/12/22 05:48 PM
so this is what the UN considers good?Honestly, some things are evident if you inhabit a culture long enough. I mean, I'd give an incredulous stare at someone who demanded a source for the claim that men are mostly taller than women. "Like okay, fine I can get a source from a simple google but are your eyes and ears not enough?" | 1 | so this is what the UN considers good?Where? And if you can find any, how much traction does it have? Please don't say such things. You're making us look bad. Victim blaming on the basis of clothing was pretty damn prevalent until recent awareness-raising. | /r/MensRights | 20/12/22 03:15 PM
so this is what the UN considers good?Agreed. Quite Reasonable 👍 | /r/MensRights | 20/12/22 03:13 PM

so this is what the UN considers good? Also wrong, perpetuated by feminist influence on the definition of rape being something only a man can do. If you include "made to penetrate" in with other forms of non-consentual sex and call that rape, you'll find it's gender non-directional (not taking into account lack of disclosures, which we will never know). If you include prison rape, men become the overwhelming majority. This is probably the one area of where I just can't get myself to agree with MRM. I don't considered myself a person … | /r/MensRights | 20/12/22 03:06 PM
I don't know if I'm delusional, but I think the majority of people actually agree with us. They just don't want to call themselves MRAs because some radical feminists have twisted that word into something bad. It's probably worse on the coast since woke culture has the most influence there. The thing about America is that its extremely segregated politically. | /r/MensRights | 20/12/22 02:48 PM
As a woman I wholly stand and support and abide by the men’s rights movement, however because you guys are starting to reach the mainstream more and more you will be met with public resistanceI half-agree with this. I think it's too black-and-white. In my mind, feminism = anti-misogyny + pro-misandry I think the anti-misogyny part is absolutely great and an important contribution to social justice. Feminists campaigned to give women voting rights, allowed women to actually own property and lead independent lives, raised awareness about consent, abortion rights, helping women wear as they wish etc. Now for the pro-misandry part of the equation, that's the ugly bit. Like really ugly. G… | /r/MensRights | 20/12/22 02:42 PM
As a woman I wholly stand and support and abide by the men’s rights movement, however because you guys are starting to reach the mainstream more and more you will be met with public resistanceIf only we could solve our issues by holding hands and singing kumbaya. Politics is nasty, and orthodox feminism is the nastiest of political ideologies. We really need to adopt a critical tone and shout back lest they drown out out voices. | /r/MensRights | 20/12/22 02:23 PM
Misandry IS systemicYou forgot to add the two most egregious cases of systemic misandy: the family courts and the Duluth Model. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 20/12/22 08:28 AM

How to self-improve as a lonely male?To piggyback, OP you should also learn cooking in order to improve nutrition. Low-carb, intermittent fasting, protein for muscles if you're lifting, all that jaz. And sleep too. Not just 8 hours. But sleep and wake up at the same time everyday. I'm personally not a big fan of therapy, but lots of people swear by it. It's worth a try if you're not happy. Lots of people swear by antidepressants as well. Talk to your doctor if nothing else helps. Therapy has been widely shown to be effective. Antid… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 20/12/22 08:22 AM
