I’ve unfortunately had 4 root canals in my life. However, not once did I need anything more than a single ibuprofen the day of, and that was more for the needle they use to numb my face, not the root canal itself. I think the issue with anyone is that people usually say “all” or they generalize by stating just “women/men/group of any sort”. People forget that determiners are an important part of speech, and a good way to show you aren’t meaning any absolutes, especially when speaking about groups of people. Men are often shamed for having fleshlights, or sex dolls, or any male focused sex toy. I’ve worked both construction, and customer service. I would choose the hard labor of construction any day over dealing with customers/people. I disagree. As a regretfully former feminist, it’s thanks to people constantly engaging in arguments with me that eventually opened my eyes.
