I used to live with a few professional (as in people paid to learn from them) pick up artists. The youngest of the group was barely in his early 20s. He would put porn on his phone and put it on the lower back of the girl he was doing doggy, just so he could keep it up and finish.

I'm curious about your take on that, what's the link? I recently noticed I was playing out this dysfunctional dynamic. Subconsciously, I was trying to use my interactions with women to "prove" to myself that I had "fixed" the things about myself that I had been insecure about. So I was only "attracted" to women that reinforced those insecurities. It was really fucked up, glad to let that one go.

That sounds pretty messed up. I'm in the US, and we've had some similar issues lately. There have been a couple cases of teens sending naked pictures of themselves to their partners (also teens) through SMS, and for some asinine reason they've been prosecuted under child pornography laws. For taking pictures of themselves.

Good question. I don't think it's considered rape unless one party is under the age of consent and the other party is over the age of consent. If both are under age, then it's not a situation where one is using the greater power and influence that come with age to coerce the other. I'm not sure what the prevailing legal opinion is though.

Male rape victims that father a child as a result of the rape are omitted from that because they didn't consent. Ummm, no they're not. That's the POINT of this thread.

Just FYI, the post wasn't by Tim Ferriss, it was written by Michael Ellsberg. Michael's wife is a friend of mine, and I got a chance to have dinner with him a month or so ago. Really really cool guy. Well, it was a life-changer for me. Among other things, I got hooked up with the personal development / information marketing crowd that David D (real name- Eben Pagan in case you didn't know) has attracted around himself, and that led to me changing jobs, friends, lifestyle and religion. I'm teaching now, in an area of expertise that I developed since MT, have started a business, and will probably start many more. I continued going to events Eben was teaching at, and had Eben invite my business…
