Dating can be wretched anywhere, and yes, one could strike out overseas as well. Go for it though, everyone needs hopes and dreams.

It’s not as easy as “remote job+passport”. Visas, visa fees, citizenship requirements, paying taxes in two counties and/or exit taxes, learning languages, and having a skill set to earn enough pay to manage this plus living expenses also factor in. And even with all this accomplished there is still no guarantee you’ll meet someone.

Yeh. Idk. Back when I dated I’d usually state. I’ve got this round you get next. If they bail after one round, chalk it to “whelp -asshole” and keep it moving.

Item 1. Yeah… plenty of men do this too. Try vetting for people who have better EQ and display personal responsibility. Item 2. Yeah….plenty of men do this too. Look at the rabble kicked up over the heavier women on sports illustrated caused. Item 3. Cultural norms usually dictate that “who asks, pays”. This is found in dating, invites to parties, etc. if I invite a friend over for dinner, I don’t ask them to pay me for that meal. If you want to go Dutch- say so. item 4. Parent courts. That has …

For me it was four. Went my own way, single and celibate. Never been happier.

Considering that we now have scores of women making better sexual choices, choosing to remain single, able to support fulfilling lives, marriage rates falling, and studies showing that single, childless women are happier as well as living longer…. I’d say the revolution is slowly working.

OP, I don’t see your logic. How does a childfree (especially those childfree by choice) woman not have life, comfort and freedom?

Nope. In fact quite the opposite. Must suck to “hit peak” in your late teens/early 20’s.

Who gives a rats ass about him, his new girl or what he’s doing? There’s a reason the rear view mirror is the smallest part of a vehicle. Your job is to get your shit so together, and love yourself so much that scumbags like him will see you from across the street and not even have the balls to look at you, let alone approach you with their bullshit. ❤️😘 Edit: IDGAF who you are. Insult or be rude to my mom and you’re done. My dad? Well. If some guy ever tried to insult my pop, my pop would lay h…

Try to strengthen your friend group for company. The comfort bit... well. Emotional Intelligence and being your own best friend is best. (This takes some time for those of us who aren’t born so introverted we are nearly reclusive, but is doable). Perhaps try a weighted blanket for sleeping?

No, can’t say that’s ever been the case. What do you mean by “craving”? Are you actually feeling lack of attention, company, touch or something else?

I have been in relationships/dating for 27 years and have never been asked by anyone what my “number” was. Nor do I think I’d either answer or even continue dating someone who would even dare to ask that bullshit question. FFS my GYNECOLOGIST doesn’t even ask that question. How is this even a thing?

He yells, he acts like a child, he degrades you and you love someone who treats you like this? Oh honey. No. This is going to escalate to him beating you shortly. Run. Do not pass go, do not collect $200. Whatever items you have at his place can be replaced. Cut off all contact NOW!

While I’ve fallen into some slight “pickmesha” moments while young, and unknowingly dating a narcissist, I was raised by a man who always told me men aren’t shit and that “it’s the man that proposes to a woman and a woman who accepts or rejects that proposal”. I’m grateful that kinda limited the behavior.
