Also fetishization… :/

You know what, fair. Women definitely do have an easier time fucking men over when it comes to children, custody and child support. I know from personal experience, my mom is currently financially fucking my dad even though he has 2/3 kids That’s not to say men can’t be total scumbags and get away with these kinds of things or worse, though

Maybe extremists, yeah, but normal feminists would disagree

You’re looking too deep into it, man. It’s as simple as the words on the screen, there’s not subtext about trans men or shit that also benefits women. If you read between the lines with a proper brain you’d understand my main point is MEN AND WOMEN BOTH GET UNDESERVINGLY FUCKED OVER AND WE NEED TO FUCKING END IT

Yeah, just discovered it and it’s great, honestly. This subreddit is dogshit, tho, gotta say it, on par with female dating strategy

I can imagine why women make up a whopping 70% of non-reciprocated domestic violence cases... as soon as the man reacts his life is over :/

"sexual activity" and "sex" is so often used when its a woman *raping* a man, the wording is simply sickening because of how easily theyre downplaying a heinous crime. edit: spelling

Yeah, I just had a look on google (simple search of "feminism for men") and I can clearly see that not the common consensus. While it could be a case of the worst voices being the loudest or even the result of the patriarchy that makes people believe feminism = anti-men (its not unheard of that biased new sources post in such a way to demonize new waves of women's freedom, for example women's hat pins https://www.smithsonianmag.com/history/hatpin-peril-terrorized-men-who-couldnt-handle-20th-cent…

Unfortunately I really can't comment on this as most of my feminist discussions take place in real life. I'm not sure what kind of subs you were in but they don't sound very pleasant, feminism should be discussed without a fear of being downvoted to hell or banned

I agree with your first point, however your second point is far from correct. Women are often ridiculed and made to feel bad when reporting their rape or assault. They're often gaslit and made to feel like its their fault for the horrendous crime acted against them. Now that's not to say men don't face the same thing, they do on a greater degree due to the toxic masculine culture that surrounds us but I do believe that modern feminism works for men and women and all the feminist extremists are c…

I believe with everything you just said here. I don't often go into feminist spaces online and just talk in person with friends and family about feminist issues, often including the issues men also face. You must understand that I go into this subreddit and I see people who deny womens oppression and are heavily agreed with so this subreddit screams "anti-woman" to me. I'm not seeing discussions about mens oppression, I'm simply seeing woman bashing, so how are the majority of the people here di…

hmm... I think this is actually where a lot of the trolling is coming from. My belief is that modern feminist movement fights for both men and women. While it did begin due to a hyperfocus on womens rights (because women had a huge lack of said rights) I was under the impression that modern feminism was for men and women. I saw this subreddit and I thought I was seeing people who were blatantly denying that women face oppression and the world is actually matriarchal rather than patriarchal, and …

Oh? You don’t wanna give me sources yourself? Is it because you can’t find them? And I won’t say that circumcision isn’t wrong, I don’t agree with circumcision, men shouldn’t be forced to face genital mutilation at birth. However that one fact does not negate all the other facts that women have to go through throughout their entire life. edit: spelling

Ill include commentary as I slowly go through this video you sent me, I’d also like to include that YouTube is not a reliable source but I did check out the video in case the YouTuber does site at least a source (he does, one, Wikipedia, which is better than nothing). What he says at the beginning is true, about the work on DNA and the discovery of DNA that certain men have done and it’s great that he’s included Wikipedia as a source, however, it isn’t entirely relevant to the point he’s making …

I’m not here to berate you, just educate, honestly all my intentions here are good. The women who say those extreme things should not and do not represent modern feminism. Modern feminism fights for both men and women, while there is a lot of focus on women we certainly will not leave men in the dust. Men should get treated equally in court when it comes to children’s custody, men should be allowed to cry and have feelings, men should be allowed to pursue traditionally feminine things while stil…

This sub ain’t anti-feminism, it’s anti-woman… could also just call this sub an incel breeding ground. Honestly, we should feel flattered and empowered, these “strong” and “powerful” men are scared because women are getting rights and equality :) wonder what’s gotten them pressed? Probably the fact women aren’t so easily taken advantage of anymore Edit: spelling

Every now and again I feel the sudden urge to boost my ego and feel absolute disgust and disbelief at the stupidity and ignorance of some people. I think the proper definition of feminism these days is that people get to choose how they want to live without being ridiculed based on their gender

Being a housewife isn’t lazy, it’s hard work, your issue with this comment should be the fact that this woman doesn’t want women to have equality
