2	Dealing with this onitis situation I'd say this is the nature of social media, being occupied by several different medias and conversations at the same time. I see the same thing with friends, where I like to stay in the app and respond immediately, but my friends will send a response then leave the app to do something else, even if I start responding immediately. I'd prefer if we stayed in the app and just responded back and forth in rapid succession to get more conversation done, faster. There are some women out there who love the idea that someone they used to go out with still pines over them, because that tells her that she's wanted. I'm extremely new to this scene, but have consumed a lot media about psychology and behavior, and one of the things that is stated almost religiously is that women want what they can't have, and tend to ignore what they can have. When you declare an interest in a chick, you put the ball in her court.
