I’m really glad you found this subreddit too, I think you’ll fit well here. That’s the short response and I’ll get to addressing the rest of your post properly soon!

Sorry I’m just now getting back to this, but yes laci green, unfortunately. I read that thread and I actually lurk on purple pill sometimes just to see what it’s all about, and in my experience it’s overall more neoconservative than liberal. Often I’ve seen that people who claim to be left leaning are still more conservative than people in other liberal circles. I think sometimes people on there pretend to be liberal and even feminist just to make liberals and feminists look bad. With that said,…

I’m glad you pointed this out. This is definitely wrong and not a feminist reply.

That’s understandable and I went through something similar when a Youtuber I really liked and thought was feminist at first eventually became redpill. That person knew about the patriarchy and everything and could speak intelligently about feminism, but ultimately was still motivated by a lot of sexist ideas. A lot of people can say they are feminist, just like anyone can say they’re not racist or liberal or conservative or anything else, but that doesn’t necessarily make it true. It’s also impo…

This is just untrue. Women in general don’t think like this, and just because some do doesn’t mean we all think the same way. This whole “macho tokens theory” thing falls under what we would call toxic masculinity and feminists don’t agree with this at all. Toxic masculinity describes the set of expectations that men are socially expected to uphold, including but not limited to stoicism (or not showing emotion), physical strength, aggressiveness, etc. It’s not that all of these traits are inhere…

for several decades women have been raised to become basically the husbands they seek. young modern women think men are ATTRACTED to their college degrees, IQ, career, hobbies, ambition, income in some PRIMARY way that reflects how female attraction works. That’s at least heavily implying that you think women are pursuing/ expressing these things because “women think men are ATTRACTED” to them. I just restated your thesis in my own words, but what you said means the same thing as what I said.

Thinking that women pursue degrees and careers in order to attract men is kind of saying that the only purpose in women’s lives is to please a man and have his children, which is a highly sexist idea. I agree that sexist men aren’t attracted to strong women, but that doesn’t mean women should make themselves weaker intellectually, financially, or physically to appease men. It means that we as a society should stop accepting sexist behavior from men and give them the opportunity to figure out tha…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
