But people here don’t all believe in RP theories. You’re not describing me at all for example. I really just like arguing sometimes. It lets me release stress I think. I see some normal people here and some strange ones. The reason I know about this place is because I was reading a lot about feminism in college then I saw anti feminist rhetoric which led to manosphere and red pill being criticized. If you spend enough time on Reddit you come across these things. Edit: I actually didn’t start com…

Leonardo DiCaprio isn’t attractive to me. He looked best in his 20’s. I saw some guy here mention this and now I have to agree. Men go bald, a lot fairly early even, they can’t age well if they go bald. Something like half of men in their 40’s are balding. Younger women are not into balding guys for the most part. Being a sugar baby is transactional sex. It’s like being a call girl but also going on dates and recieving gifts. Relationships based on money have nothing to do with actual attraction…

I was a virgin until 26 and prefer low n men. I have a low sex drive and am pretty picky with who I like romantically. I have a strong preference for short guys. My boyfriend is 5’6’’ and small framed. I really like how close in size we are. I’m certainly an outlier but I don’t think much of TRP applies to the majority. Like hypergamy is a thing. But AF/BB is referring to a subset. People these days marry for love more often than they used to. RP men seem bitter like FDS women do. Hating on peop…

You could say the same for a really attractive inexperienced guy. But after a certain age people see it as a negative trait to be a virgin. People will wonder what’s wrong with you.

Not true. Older virgins are not valued. Late 20’s as a virgin is routinely considered strange for men and women.

Based on being a virgin until 26 as a woman I was not prized. Teenagers are heavily conflated with virginity. So most guys who say they prefer virgins are really thinking about teenagers because an older woman as a virgin is thought to be strange. I don’t know about Japan being a good example for what you mean. Because virginity rates in Japan are very high for men and women. Like 1/4 of adults in their 20’s and 30’s. A culture that simultaneously encourages virginity and promiscuity cannot exis…

I see a lot of people saying skinny is back in or something along those lines. Tiktok is specifically notorious these days for allowing pro anorexia content to thrive. Tumblr used to be the place you’d see that most but they cracked down on thinspo content. Even when ‘thick’ was most popular it was all about being ‘slim thick’ so still having a small waist was valued.

Should I not participate here? I’ve seen older virgins comment here without such scrutiny or is it because an older woman virgin is too strange for you? I’m a truly selective person. It’s contradictory to me that people here imply women are super selective and then say how that leads to AF/BB. I don’t understand their logic at all.

No it wouldn’t make him more attractive. He would seem more like a potential friend maybe. Edit: I wouldn’t be surprised if women who think otherwise were more likely to be involved in an affair. Women can tell y’all about their desires all they want and you don’t want to listen anyway. We’re presumed to be liars. I’ve never seen AF/BB occur IRL. So I don’t think it’s common. Don’t rush things. You’re in high school and everyone is just figuring themselves out at that time. Around 18 is when young people these days first have sex. It’s common for people to have their first serious relationship at college age. I wasn’t in a serious relationship until 26. Have you actually met women with little sexual experience and seen who they marry? Virgins until marriage have a strong preference for other virgins. Promiscuous men marry promiscuous women. It comes across as delusional to ignore this reality. I’ve only been with one man. I found it admirable that he was celibate for a couple years before dating me. Indicated he had self control to my mind. Promiscuous men are a turnoff to sexually conservative women. If you really look you’d see it was apparen…

https://www.bustle.com/articles/180845-what-its-like-to-lose-your-virginity-according-to-3000-college-women This random readers survey found over 50 percent of women said it hurt when they lost their virginity, although only 35 percent bled. This makes sense to me because I know that the hymen can tear from non sexual activity and it can be no blood or pain during sex for the first time when the woman is relaxed and they take things slow.

Obviously, one of the most common reasons for premarital abstinence is religion, and NSFG data support such an interpretation.2 Figure 2 shows that women who marry as virgins are far more likely than other women to attend church at least once a week. It’s also noteworthy that virgin marriages increasingly became the domain of religious women between the 1980s and 2000s—and during the same years, the divorce rate for virgin brides continued to drop. These findings make sense in light of the fact …

Virgin women aren’t blank slates. A younger more sheltered woman might be more impressionable but even she has life experiences impacting her expectations in a relationship. I had some expectations when I started having sex. I read enough to know what was normal. I wasn’t naive or open to whatever was suggested to me.

As an introverted, quiet, risk averse woman I rarely went on dates and didn’t start my first serious relationship until 26. Whenever I had tried dating before it didn’t sit well with me. What age does the average man in the modern world want to get married? Wouldn’t it be late 20’s to early 30’s? But virginity is highly associated with teenagers, so I don’t think many men are thinking about virginity and marriage outside of a religious context. Considering most guys would like to have their time ‘playing the field’ I don’t think virginity is very valued. If they cared they would have married their high school sweetheart. https://www.askmen.com/dating/curtsmith_60/82_dating_advic…

Because you control for confounding variables if you’re trying to answer a question like this of course. If they didn’t control for race it would obfuscate the relationship between political association. If Black conservatives were thinner than Black liberals they could detect that though. The result isn’t a large difference. But it’s not surprising to me because the red states are generally more obese than the blue states.

The chance of pregnancy from one act of sex is low. Women ovulate at different times and even during ovulation it’s like 30% chance. a single act of intercourse between a young couple has on average a one in 20 chance of pregnancy That aside if you you already know that 50 women and 1 man results in more pregnancies than 50 men and 1 woman then you should understand why women are valued more. Women are the bottleneck to reproduction. Men are more easily replaceable in their role.

That’s a common opinion among women with low partner counts. There’s evidence showing promiscuous people settle down with each other and low partner count people with each other. Think about the repercussions of what you’re saying. If women like promiscuous men they wouldn’t have a low partner count for very long at all.

I enjoy porn more than my boyfriend for sure, he thinks it’s too fake usually, so yeah I wouldn’t care. I also cannot be with him very much due to work so watching porn to facilitate masturbation is what I’d expect to occur. Yeah I wouldn’t date a guy like that. With my boyfriend I didn’t ask about his history very much but wanted to get an idea of how experienced he was. It appealed to me that he wasn’t looking for a relationship or hookups for a couple years until meeting me. It made me think he has self control and won’t cheat on me out of some impulsive thing. Think about this logically. If more men approach you then more low quality men approach as well. I don’t think quality relationships fall into anyone’s lap aside from just being lucky. Too many people get taken advantage of, so it’s necessary for everyone to be vetting potential partners. The researchers phrased it as slightly above average. 5-6’’ is average so pretty common. 6-7’’ is above average so not unusual. 7-8’’ is large and seems more what people think of as pornstar penis. If you think of 6-7’’ as large I guess I see your perspective better. I still think the amount of women who prefer average is significant and shouldn’t be accused of trying to look nice or something. There is more consensus for what men find attractive. Why do you think plastic surgery is way more common among women? This study is really meh. It’s just asking if given only attractiveness as a description would they hookup. It compares men to women. Not women’s choice for casual or LTR. I’d be curious now to see how men and women compare for this question in terms of an LTR. Why do y’all think temporary coupling is more valuable? If average height women are in relationships with average height men by and large I don’t see how that proves most women want tall men. Average height woman in the US is 5’3.8’’ and man is 5’9.3’’. 5’6’’ man is 13.1 percentile. 5’0.4’’ woman is 11.2 percentile. This is why the 80/20 stuff as described here is silly. I’ve only ever been strongly attracted to one man and he’s 5’6’’. Preferences can vary quite a bit among women. The 80/20 thing doesn’t make sense for describing attraction broadly. It makes more sense for describing who gets the most casual sex. I’ve seen it apply to men and women though, that a minority have the most casual sex.

I disagree with your idea of traditional men. I think traditional men are providers, protectors, assertive, aggressive, and a leader. Most people are employed, so I don’t know why you specify that then say high earning. The other things lean towards gender dimorphism, like things that differentiate men from women. I don’t think modern women want traditional men because some women are comfortable taking on that role partially or fully. Your idea of traditional women is also odd. A traditional wom…

Where do y’all see this? I see a survey found 39% of heterosexual couples met online. So a majority met offline. And meeting online included things like through friends on Facebook. Meeting through friends is the most popular way committed relationships begin. I met my boyfriend offline and we had some friends in common. I’m around a lot of folks in their 20’s. Of the committed relationships a significant majority met offline.

I always thought people here exaggerated the differences between men and women. But I think you’re doing what you’re accusing others of doing. If men and women have different sex drives on average then of course interest in casual sex wouldn’t be the same. ~1/3 of women say they’ve been on a date and felt pressured for sex. Men and women both want commitment but there’s a gendered difference in timing. Younger women have a higher percentage wanting commitment now. I believe this is also shown in…

Help & FAQs How is the face beauty measured or calculated? PrettyScale measures the face beauty by studying and testing the placement and sizes of different face features. The results are based on the face shape, distance between eyes and lips, mouth size and face symmetry. Sometimes golden ratio is also used in determining the results. Results can be different based on how you place lines and dots on your face according to instructions.

You don’t want to be with a guy chasing youthful women. Those guys will leave you for younger women. Look at Leonardo DiCaprio. Relationships that last are based on more than looks. You’re not responding to their argument here. Most women want a guy within a few years older. They never said all women want twinks. Women want beauty and a provider. Male desirability to women peaks in the late 20s and does not fall below the average for all men until 36. Response to large age gaps is largely just disgust. If your partner is old enough to be your parent people find that to be off-putting. No quality is better if you intend to marry one guy. There are a lot of guys that I don’t care if they find me attractive. What’s the value in that? I would never date an older guy for example. Women at 30 are childbearing age. Before puberty we were losing 10,000 eggs a month. We had 1-2mil eggs at birth. 300-400k at puberty (~12 years old). So we lose most eggs before childbearing age. After puberty it slows down. Then late 30’s is a significant drop.

Well here is a couple that got married and had a baby together with 6’8’’ woman and 5’4’’ man. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2252626/Worlds-tallest-teen-girl-towers-boyfriend-enjoy-romantic-walk-Brazilian-beach.html I don’t find tall guys attractive. I prefer short men. That may be an unpopular opinion but it’s not rare.

I see a stat saying roughly 40% of teens haven’t had sex by graduation. That seems like the rough numbers for my classmates in high school. I did not have sex until well into my 20’s. A lot of folks don’t start seriously dating until college and the goal for most folks is to settle down so I don’t think casual sex is very frequent at all.

That’s a terrible article. Most women are straight. This is what people mean by scientific studies being centered around men for a long time. That’s less of a problem these days. I think there is more differences within men or women as a group than there are differences between the groups. Like there’s plenty of variety you know. But I’ve noticed more women find underweight women very beautiful like fashion models or Kpop idols. Another thing is I think women like a cinched waspy waist a lot more than men do. Men more admire voluptuous women with large breast, butts or hips. Personally I think women like Megan Thee Stallion are really beautiful like Amazonian.

Women have always been having children in their 40’s. It was always occurring until menopause because no highly effective birth control. Fertility does not equal health. A fetus starts with ~6m eggs and that drops to 1-2m at birth. Most eggs die quickly. At puberty a girl has 300-400k eggs. People should be encouraged to get some exercise in for good health. A healthy weight with a sedentary lifestyle just leads to high levels of body fat with low muscle. She’s mentioned her weight before. She is a plus size model 5’9’’ 185-195lbs. She is very curvy, I wouldn’t call her chubby because she works out and stays fit. She used to be a typical sized model https://www.instagram.com/p/BPYHG5gAtEL/?igshid=12eg61kylses7

I see a lot of people say face is most important and while I agree that’s true, I can’t make a general statement about that. Specific people have strong but specific preferences. The ratios I mentioned are more universally appealing.

Yeah based on this https://blogs.chapman.edu/crean/2015/09/29/new-research-analyzes-height-weight-income-and-more-in-regards-to-sex-and-dating/ Height doesn’t dramatically effect the number of sexual partners men have until he’s shorter than a lot of women and even then they aren’t well below the average.

Iskra Lawrence is who I think of as curvy and overweight, I think she’s around 27-28 BMI.

I’m sure it depends on genetics like the 0.7 for women is not very attainable for all. I’m female with 38.5 inch shoulders and 26 inch waist circumference so 1.48 ratio. At the leanest I’m comfortable with waist is down to 24.5 inches with 38 inch shoulders so 1.55.

That’s a weird thing to say lol. I’m actually attracted to women. Cara is not a sex symbol. Brittney Spears, Sofia Vergara, Jennifer Lopez, and Scarlet Johansson are sex symbols.

I’m in the military and we met at work. I don’t have past relationships to compare but things have moved along quickly. We’ve known each other for ~6 months, I wanted to date him after ~3 months, and we’ve only really been together 1 month. Yet we’re already saying I love you. We’re very attached to each other and sex has been great. When we were officially together we started to hang out alone for a couple hours everyday. I was only just able to move out the barracks last week so it’s nicer to …

It’s a matter of preference I guess. I find softer features most attractive. I don’t think a good model look is considered beautiful to most people though. The modeling world likes unique more than pretty looks.

I don’t know what to tell you. I never called her unattractive. I see a lot of women who look as pretty as her when I walk around town. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I think. You could look at my boyfriend and think he’s average while I think he’s beautiful.

Fashion models don’t need to look pretty they are supposed be showcasing the clothing. I don’t think Cara without makeup looks very noteworthy https://i.imgur.com/qXlv5zN.jpg. There are plenty of average people that I really like because they appeal to my personal preferences. So maybe she appeals to you but I know a lot of people say she’s more average than a typical celebrity so she came to mind as an example. Wait why are you so offended? I said in my original comment I think most people are …

Cara Delevigne. I think average people look quite pretty when putting effort into their appearance and being fit. Without being all dressed up Cara looks like an everyday woman to me though.

I find him to be below average since he has an awkward face but as far as dating goes he seems to have beautiful girlfriends anyway. People like to put him in list for ‘ugly but hot people’. Personality matters a lot in a real life.

https://imgur.com/a/BmOpF2j I think a large majority of people are average looking but with enough effort average folks can look pretty or handsome. With celebrities it’s easy to think of below average guys but not women so I ended up using a famous murderer as an example. I always think face is most important for physical attractiveness but a fit body is also important to me.

I went on dates my junior year with a guy who liked me a lot but I didn’t feel a strong attraction and asked to be friends. That was the most dates I had been on with someone until this year. No I was thinking I could be asexual or aromatic in high school. I started feeling lonely my last couple years of college. But even then I really wanted a close friend at that time. 26 Female I was a little embarrassed to be so inexperienced with my current boyfriend but things are going so smoothly regardl…

I personally don’t assume that. If you’re comparing equal height and weight the woman would have to train for years to be as strong as the man is naturally. It’s possible but unlikely. For women who like to lift weights I think my perspective is common. My boyfriend is 5’6’’ and I’m 5’4’’. He’s like 10lbs heavier than me and I like that I can pick him up but I still feel that he is stronger than me especially his upper body.
