| 5 | Google defines rapist as "a **man** who commits rape" (x-post from r/mildlyinfuriating)It's not a circular definition. The dictionary is defining the word "rapist" not the word "rape". The dictionary assumes that you know what the other words in the definition mean. If you don't know.. then it's up to you to look up what they are. If you take the definition to be "A person who commits rape." You might think "well.. what does rape mean?". But then again... what does "person" mean? What does "commits" mean?
