I really like this. I could apply the video games part to my life, and could use a "fast" like you said. I am not a daily person like I used to be. Biggest takeaway is getting rid of something, then add something else. This can go for anything that consumes your time that is a "buffer" and isn't contributing to your life.

I take a break from TRP at times and come back to find posts that apply so nicely to what is going on in life currently. Thank you for this, helps solidify and tweak what I am doing currently.

I feel like this could be looked into more as some LTR theory. Really gets me thinking.

Watched this film about two weeks ago and really thought the same. Wanted to try to give a nice summary of the documentary but got too sucked into it. Great watch.

This is seriously one of the my favorite posts of all time. You're opening the eyes of the end-game which we all should be seeking. We are here to get the maximum enjoyment out of every facet in life.

You'd be surprised how often this happens. Sometimes it is subtle enough for others to not notice, but as long as you know it's pure entertainment.

Alright, so let me get this straight... You guys talked. Talked. Decided to move in together, and then started "dating" after the fact? I only see this as being a placeholder or being used so she can continue to live in the city. She should not be dominating over you/the relationship. I don't see how you are benefiting in this besides being with your "ideal girl." Not worth it imo. You're the prize, don't give her a place to stay to just have a chance at a relationship with a girl. Should've bee…

The wishy-washy mentality of excitement/denial of wanting marriage should be a key clue to just back out. If she is like that before marriage, what else are you to expect when you are married?

Another book that has helped me clear my mind and focus on what I am currently doing is The Power of Now. An amazing read, Eckhart Tolle speaks truth throughout the whole book and helps push for that meditative focus.

It's just tough accepting that some other guy is gonna get to hit that. You had your time with her, you broke up with her for a reason. Your lease is up and someone is bound to pick it up. Move along like you say you're doing by chatting up other girls. Plate her or drop her, but protect yourself from rape accusations (if she really is psycho like you say).

Never thought about the hypothetical situation but definitely applicable. Thank you for that! Makes it sound like she is needing to win you over or ensure you don't go.

These are all pretty spot on. Taking a mental note of it all. This could work outside of a LTR, correct?

For real, first time reading into that and I LOVED it. Definitely something to think about further, and use it!

A very empowering and motivating post. I've only recently discovered TRP and I love everything that I have read and heard. It hits hard at home and only pushes me further into TRP world. Thank you all.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
