Rape has no genderYeah, thanks, I’ve grown strong and wise out of the hell of family I had. | /r/MensRights | 24/06/24 04:12 PM
Rape has no genderI was sexually abused during childhood and adulthood in my family by men and women. (I’m a cisgender gay man). So yeah, predators and criminals can by either gender is violence not to say it as it is, it can be extreme ignorance too. | /r/MensRights | 24/06/24 02:58 PM
Getting raped as a guy is not important? Please take care of your mental health with a therapist (they can guide you to find a lawyer too) and seek professional advice from a lawyer after that. You matter and your life matters, take care of yourself even if those around you won’t, that’s how this mess starts to get turned around the way of justice. You are a human being equal to any other human being with the same rights, no one is above the law. If there wasn’t consent from both parties involved it would was sexual abuse. | /r/MensRights | 15/06/24 04:26 PM
Remember, it's ok to mock men on something they have zero control over but don't you dare say anything about women! For the record Einstein’s IQ was average, he was a genius scientist but not an intelectual genius. Easier explanation: The above image promotes hate. And it doesn’t matter if the people who shares that type of content are men, or women or non-binary, or who thrown the rock first. Hate is hate. And hate is not the solution to hate. Forgiveness is, education is, equality is. I hope now it is easier to understand for everyone, thanks for point that out ✌🏼. | /r/MensRights | 01/12/22 03:02 PM
| -1 | Hobbies for men vs womenOh, buy books for him and read with him until he pick up on the habit, he doesn’t need a passion but a habit. Books when the mindset they teach is constructive can be transformational (when the knowledge is applied). Internet can also have educational content like TED talks on YouTube is just about looking in a specific way and not expecting the masses have any wisdom or love because you’ll find the opposite most of the time. You can teach him this too, so he can have a happier and wiser life. | /r/MensRights | 27/11/22 06:34 PM |
Tell me what you think about thisOnce you advocate for equality all your quarrels end. None is listening to the other and both are right in what you are trying to communicate. There is no point in fighting for who deserves to be the victim, there are so many problems to solve in our society, we need problem solvers not problem creators and blaming the other party won’t go anywhere. You better talk with women in this subreddit. I personally don’t see to take part for anyone as useful since that is taking part in unnecessary conf… | /r/MensRights | 26/11/22 02:39 PM
| -2 | Why do feminists call any criticism of feminist misandry/double standards “misogyny” and suggest any man who questions their narrative “hates women?”I think people raise the flag of feminism on the wrong causes. What you are talking about is anti-feminism or female chauvinism. I’m a man and a feminist. Feminism is all about equality not women, the feminist movement has grown beyond the oppressed women it started defending time ago, and I think men rights is feminism too, I’ve learnt many important things in here. I advocate for equality, and female chauvinism has nothing to do with it. Male chauvinism is so much alike. I invite you to advoca… | /r/MensRights | 26/11/22 02:32 PM |
Sexual abuse of men (my story)Thank you so much for such a heartfelt response I hope you’re doing better mentally wise, there are many free things you can do to improve your life. Like prayer, as far you know let’s say “the prayer of the lord” you have a tool to exercise forgiveness and to use it for giving thanks to God. Thanking God is not about having many things is just an act of selflessness and love that makes you feel better and I’m sure it can help with being healthier too (how psychology affects immunology). | 11 | As a woman what can I do to help men and men’s rights?I was sexually abused and as a men by my uncle, grandmother and mother, I had never had a place to go with my traumas, so much so that I learnt how to self heal and so I did, but men often times commit sucide before looking inwards and facing traumas and investing in learning psychology or going to therapy, in my case was learning to forgive and to letting go the way. This is so important | /r/MensRights | 24/11/22 07:13 AM
As a woman what can I do to help men and men’s rights? This attitude is feminism and advocates for equality, first of all congratulations on having an open mind. I think more than rights what I can offer to you is psychological advice (not professional though) in helping men to get in touch with their feelings, asking them questions that help think about how they feel and that they feel safe to talk to you and in the process listening to themselves and observe their own mind in doing so. Listening and not judging is always rewarding, and should be p… | /r/MensRights | 24/11/22 07:08 AM
Remember, it's ok to mock men on something they have zero control over but don't you dare say anything about women!Logical fallacy | /r/MensRights | 24/11/22 06:17 AM
Remember, it's ok to mock men on something they have zero control over but don't you dare say anything about women!Female chauvinism is not equality in face of male chauvinism, it just sets the ground for endless hate and violence in it’s multiple ways | /r/MensRights | 23/11/22 04:41 PM
More women need to recognize men's rightsThis is feminism which advocates for equality is so sad the feminism has became a flag female chauvinistic people raise as disguise of their unsolved mental problems and instead of going to therapy they project them to men in general just for being born male. When equality is something beautiful we need to preserve and cultivate in our society. I want to share this Ted talk that for me is what equality looks like in one of it’s different causes For me as a men who was sexually abused during chil… | /r/MensRights | 23/11/22 01:21 AM
