I've found that you have to. I've tried to reason with people and what happens is that they try and twist what you say, then if you get frustrated the fact that you're angry is a sign that you're a "dangerous incel" and then when they retell the story to other people they miss bits out to paint you in the worst possible light. What’s depressing is that this was found over 5 years ago and it’s just not acknowledged by society. In-fact, the discrimination against men has gotten worse. 100% agree. I go on about this book "the righteous mind" covers this in detail fairly well. Numerous studies show that people have an emotional response to things. The problem here is that they control the narrative at the moment. Most mainstream media will view things in a feminist or that the very least mild feminist lens. When you control the narrative you can be this dismissive. This is what humans are like. Do you have any stats or studies? I'm not trying to challenge the notion, just trying to understand it. My father left and my mother moved in a guy who is now my step dad.
