Here are some other helpful formatting options: Bolding is double asterisk before and after a word. Italics is single asterisk before and after the word. Superscript is an exponent symbol "" Hashtag before a sentence will make the text large and bold. (There are more options with more hashtags. It considers them like Heading formats in Word. Add more hashtags to indicate the Heading level 1-6) (I never use these.....) Asterisk by itself will indicate bulleting (need a line space before and after…

It's not about either. It's about preservation of the Constitution, the distribution of powers between the 3 branches of government, and distributed powers between the States and the Federal. The Supreme Court's decision, when passing Rowe, created a law and this is specifically restricted to the Legislative, not the Judicial. No where in the Constitution is there a portion that deals with 'right to abortion'. I'm pro-choice, but I'm also a constitutional conservative, and I don't like when the …

I'm 44 and have no reason to even consider approaching women for anything. Even in the workplace I try to minimize my interactions and maintain those to the best possible professional level. Women are so used to getting attention without effort, that now they are starting to lash back at men for not doing it anymore without realizing that it's the other aspects of culture that have caused the issues.

No worries, I like pedantism. More now than ever we need to ensure we are expressing ourselves as accurately as possible, especially with the desire of some portions of our society who like to continually misuse words and apply definitions inappropriately.

I just wanted to make you aware that the Red Pill in the manosphere is a slightly different term. It is similar in many respects to women's red pill, but it goes a little further in reflecting on our current society. It focuses more on how men are affected by Judicial System (Family Courts) and other aspects that I won't go into here. I mention this only to make you aware the men's red pill does not fully support traditional gender roles as women's red pill does. So if you do come across some of…

As a recovering MGTOW Monk, I think he's probably not going to be responsive like you are expecting. He's going to be secluded emotionally, not just because of stoicism, but because of what men's Red Pill shows him. Example, after example, of men being drug through "divorce rape" (actual term), or the social disposablility of men in general, or the lack of concern by society of men's mental health, etc, etc. The only way for you to break through that barrier is to be as knowledgeable on the topi…

I think the pair bonding deficiency is a symptom of another aspect, which you haven't expressed here. From what I know, the main issue with pair bonding comes from a previous history of having excessive confidence in the ability to attract their partners. Abusing that attraction and not applying a deeper meaning to the interaction/relationship leads to an inability to fully commit later on. (Why would they apply more emotional attachment when they have built a history of not doing it in the past…

A tangent to your point: Biden is not President-elect and Harris is not VP-elect. Firstly, the Electoral College vote won't happen until December 14th (only after which the *elect title could be applied). Secondly, there are still several judicial, legislative, and electorial processes that are currently ongoing which need to be finalized before the State votes are officially finalized. Thirdly, the Press and Media do not officiate an election. They can make an assumption as to which candidate m…

It really depends on which topic you are addressing. The manosphere is quite broad in its 'red pill' information. I agree that it is not the same as RPW, which would be classified under tradcon in male environments. I think what your ex was alluding to was more of what Cassie Jaye did her documentary on; The Red Pill movie. Which covers more Men's Rights Advocacy and the various aspects by which men are disproportionately treated by society. (The whole point of the movie was for her, a feminist,…

Some people, like Jordan Peterson, are trying to change this with being open about their own issues, but generally it is not considered a socially acceptable topic. JBP talking about his anxiety medication Warren Farrell wrote a book about The Boy Crisis but that doesn't get very far outside if the manosohere. My ex tried to do similar things but I didn't care about anyone else's opinion. The easiest way was to be direct with my friends and family. This was a great interview with Karen Straughn from The Red Pill movie by Cassie Jaye. The Red Pill movie: For anyone who hasn't seen the it, I highly recommend it. Cassie was a hard line feminists and made a documentary about MRA's. After the editing of the video, she realized that she could no longer consider herself a feminist. I didn't say it would take years for her and him to do this. I simply stated that it took me years to get to this point. My delay was primarily related to me choosing dominant women. And i wouldn't say it's changing him into someone else. It's allowing him to realize who he could be, as a man.
/r/RedPillWomen23/10/19 11:18 PM

He's been raised to be accommodating, not dominant. He can become dominant, but it will take time and guidance from you. It is unlikely that he'll find a male role model to teach him these things in our current society. There aren't many men left who know how to present that persona. I think it's premature to consider ending the relationship if you haven't tried enticing him to be the person you would like him to be. Communicate what you want from him and force him to take on those actions. Ask …

I am not in any way a professional in these matters, but as a 'lone wolf' (M42), I may be able to offer a perspective. Men generally don't have the finer definition of emotional categorization that women do. Or at least we don't usually spend time dividing the broad terms into granular terms. The reference example I like to use is colors. Men don't classify colors in the range that women do (and sometimes we can't see the differences). The same with emotions. We can feel the same range, but not …

I'm Classical Liberal, Constitutional Originalist, and atheist. MGTOW is an extension of Red Pill. Its applying a lifestyle approach to protect yourself. Twice in the OP's post, she refers to their child as "my child" and once as "our child". The "my child" occurs when she is talking about her+child and the "our child" when it's him+child. This is a serious issue. It reflects a priority structure that she places the child above her husband, and that she only acknowledges the child as 'th…

Clarification: The US military functions as a dictatorship protecting the Constitutional Republic. Military service is voluntary (unless drafted), and the selective services (submarines, etc) are again, separately voluntarily joined. Their conduct is monitored and administered under the the UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice). ... Now, all of that out of the way. Do I think that men and women are being treated differently, yes. Do I agree with this, no. Women do get preferential treatment in…

I agree with your interpretation of how it was delivered, but I think that it is written that way to appeal to how women would receive it as an audience. It seems, to me, that the author is trying to communicate to women in the softest method possible. I don't know anything about this book other than what is posted here, this is just my perception of it.

At your age, it's hard to fight urges associated with hormones. I wanted all of those things you listed. Unfortunately I was divorce raped after 10 years of marriage, 2 kids, and her cheating on me. I can't say don't do it, but I can say that there are volumes of evidence to support the MGTOW/MRA mindset. My best advice would be to tell you to wait until you are past 30. I think I may have written my previous comment to be more aggressive than intended. To clarify: I disagree with the GOP in regards to their historical relationship with evangelicalism. I don't like blind ideologues for any belief structure. And I hope I didn't come across as attacking Republicans. I was raised in a Republican environment and throughout my own searching, I still associate closer with them. If anything I'm more disgusted with the puritanical liberals.

I'd say he's interested. Seems like he's very shy, introverted, and doesn't want to mess up starting a relationship. The liquor helps expose the underlying feelings. You might have to pry back the shell a bit to get him to express it all though. Also, he may have been 'talking up Bryan's to see what degree your interest in Bryan was. Perhaps he thought that you'd be more attracted to Bryan than himself.

It might help him to get through those things, but I would wait to address that as a secondary topic. Start with your relationship, then lead into 'perhaps your history has affected you'. I'd see if he can make those connections first, or if he's even considered that those have affected him.
/r/RedPillWomen03/01/19 03:21 PM

The main thing to pass along to him is that you understand that he doesn't know how to differentiate the subtleties and nuances of all feelings, but that you'd like him to put in effort to define them as best he can, and at a pace that is acceptable for you. For instance, he may feel angry about an incident that happened to him, but he may not be able to recognize and catagorize it to singular or multiple sub attributes, like feeling shamed, disrespected, emasculated, etc. He probably doesn't kn…

From a guy who has spent years dealing with emotional definition issues, I explained it like this to my female friend: Men have emotions, just as much as women. The best way to think about it is that we haven't spent as much of our lives, mental energy, defining them. So when we are asked to explain how we feel, please allow some latitude and time for us to formalize them. The best analogy is colors; men see blues, greens, etc and women will define them into sub catagories much quicker and easie…

In the Heterodox interview they state that it should be released 'by the end of the year, or early next year'. It's probably under a lot of scrutiny due to it's 'inflamiyory' nature. My ex and I agreed that no circumcision was the appropriate route for both of our boys. I read far enough to see that this has nothing to do with MGTOW.... Take your seasoned selection process elsewhere.

Dallas/Fort Worth: Has better road systems than Houston or Austin (at least 3 different ways to get across the metroplex). Also has a more diverse base of industries (airlines (American and Southwest), finance, oil and gas, healthcare, etc). Houston: It's ok. They're trying to develop better road systems, but they are all based on a downtown centric plan which causes traffic to be twice as bad as needs to be. Majority of the business is oil and gas. The last o&g downturn, compounded by the hurri…

I've already broached this with one of my friends, both of us divorced in our 40's. We're going to claim that we are in an open homosexual marriage, bisexuals, but only dating women because we don't consider that as cheating.

Codependency is a cultural carry over from before the birth of Courtly Love. Generally speaking, they don't like to exist on their own. At the minimum of the dependency spectrum they are 'lonely at night'; which is why they will never be able to fully comprehend a MGTOW Monk.

"I want to end with something I’m trying to remind myself about these days: Everyone is going through something that we can’t see. I want to write that again: Everyone is going through something that we can’t see." This can never be stated enough. This was an excellent article. Thank you for sharing.

I did this. I was laid off for 2 years after working for a company for 15. Couldn't find work in another industry, so survived on savings for the whole time. Of course, it did set back my retirement timing a bit.....

That's the biggest problem with this argument ... you have to have at least had one red pill moment in your life to be MGTOW. After that, there's nothing you don't scrutinize in society.

That wont happen. Ive trained myself to be resistant to those emotions. Everytime I think of 'how nice' the relationship is, I look at my bank account, or my divorce settlement (I keep a physical copy in my computer bag). Every once in a while I don't even need those. She'll say something that just triggers a mental response of 'AWALT', like acid reflux into my brain.

To me, MGTOW, is about protecting yourself. Knowing all of the aspects of society that could impact you negatively, and then preventing yourself from being involved in/consumed by any of those. Coming to Red Pill/MGTOW: 5 years into marriage and I knew I was done, so I planned my divorce to happen in 4 years. I knew I would have to prove to the court 'I tried to keep us together'. Year 1: I reviewed the Texas family laws and knew I had a limited time to finalize the divorce or I'd have to pay al…

My ex cheated on me while we were still married. I found out after we separated and was getting monthly visitations with my boys. My youngest made the mistake of referring to me by his name. Thank you Dave! You got her to file for divorce before I could pay to do it myself. Also, saved me the hassle of filing the paperwork.

Should have posted to r/mgtow2. Would have been more acceptable there. Curious though... why would you think anyone that is MGTOW would be concerned about a feminist or a metoo'er committing suicide? Do you understand what that philosophy actually stands for/against?

You could post in r/theydidthemath (or r/theydidthemonstermath). I'll also take a shot at it though. Assuming your 'length' value is the circumference(?), you would need create an inverse relationship for the speed value (length increase, speed decrease) I'm also assuming you have a minimal speed value that the circle starts off with, somehow equivalent to the circumference of the circle. So, first off you'll need to set some variables: Len1= smallest (fastest) length Len2= new length (value wil…

There was a time, when I was around 19-20, that I didn't speak to her for a year. I needed to process what it was that she said and did that pissed me off when I was around her. She would use a passive guilt trip / shaming to attempt to control me. Once I realized this, processed it, and accepted that this was the way she was raised; I was able to ignore / bypass her comments and speak direct responses to her. After several years of continued dismissal of her language usage, she finally started …

Believe me, I agree with you. I wish that there were cognitive tests for voting. If you don't/can't understand the political system or the policies, then you shouldn't be allowed to vote. But in the context of this posting, there are 2nd wave feminist who were not Marxist. They believed in cultural equality amongst the sexes and that was it. They don't stick to the label of 'progressive' because they believed that they met their goal and didn't need to find new goals (progress for the sake of pr…

Women like Christina Hoff Sommers, and other 2nd wave's, are pushing hard against the 3rd's. They don't have as much support except from non-feminists. Which makes it difficult in the current environment.

You need to look at Gad Saad's Evolution of Consumption. He addresses the fact that women will change their looks and reactions based on their current mood. He is a professor of evolutionary marketing. He has a decent YouTube channel as well.
