Pathetic? 😂 You're the one who's turned into an "all women are out to get me" incel. You have no data at all. You're pulling all of this out of your ass because some woman hurt you. You lump people you don't like with the whole group to justify your feelings of victimization. Go get therapy my man.

Have fun wallowing in your self-pity. Good luck to you.

It's sad that you choose to identify as an oppressed victim when you could be so much more.

That's like saying "all trans activists are oppressors."

Almost everyone in power is an authoritarian.

You are choosing to lump all feminists together when it's a minority who think and talk the way you are claiming. You are choosing to ignore the majority of feminists who actually agree with you about the crazy ones. You are choosing to give them more credibility by falsely equating them with the whole. Do you understand my point now? Or are you so committed to being a victim that you can't see that things are a lot more complicated than you're making them?

You've lumped them all together the same way that the foolish ones do to us. It's a useless ad hominem. It's not helpful. According to you, they say "men bad," and you have a problem with that, but you're saying "feminists bad." It's exactly the same. You just chose to condemn an entire school of thought instead of an entire sex. You're responding to all feminists in the same way that the crazy ones respond to all men.

Oh, what a nuanced view! If you swap the genders, you sound exactly like the people you're criticizing. You're using the same rhetoric, just for "your side." That doesn't make you a good defender of anyone's rights. It just means you're trying to beat "your enemy" by becoming them, which is the worst form of defeat in my point of view.

Feminism used to just mean "the belief that women are and should be treated equally to men." The "all men are bad," feminism is a lot more recent. Third Wave Feminism? By the original definition, I'm a feminist. My wife is one. Most people who call themselves "feminists" believe in equality, not revenge. The misandry you're concerned with is a minority of feminists that just happen to be very vocal online, because the stuff they say is dramatic.

Thank you for your thought-out response! I agree with almost all of this. What I said about not articulating the problem was directed at our entire culture. I'm starting to grasp the problem, but some of my grasp is intuitional. The way my brain works, I often circumabulate a problem before I go to specific details. I work backwards from more rationally-minded or logical personalities. I'm trying to work on that. I will look into research into healthy D/s dynamics. Thank you for calling that out…

Does anyone else get the impression that we're fundamentally using the wrong language and framework for this, and that's why we're not getting anywhere? "Problems can not be solved with the same mindset that created them." - attributed (probably falsely) to Einstein We keep talking about consent. I don't think consent isn't the primary problem here. Sixteen year olds can consent to work. I think they can consent to have sex with adults, but that doesn't mean it's healthy. It creates a dramatic i…
