Basically you say you completely discarded all the things mentioned here, just to follow up to list the things, which are also very often mentioned in this subreddit. Long story short, you discarded shitty advice and followed up on the good advice, even if you saw more of the former. Good job, but believe me, all of the things you mention in your post are also mentioned here like everyday. The key is just to disregard all of the bullshit as soon as you sense it, which you apparently did.

If you think you're "very charismatic", you're probably not. You're probably making them laugh, but not really polarizing in any way. Getting the laughs is indeed very important in dating, but it has to be combined with some kind of sexual tension and building some kind of attraction (like the thing 90% here unnecessarily call "escalation", which is just being comfortable with being a little bit physical in your interactions with women)

What is the difference between a guy who is 24 and a guy who is 25?

Oh well, I think we've reached a point when we just have absolutely different taste, approach and preferences. Might be I'm just possessive and somehow picky by nature, but I always search for some uniqueness and scarcity, never been into things or people available for everyone. Be it sex, relationships, friendships or whatever. Even more pronounced for material things. Hard to argue with your point when it comes to physical, but on mental/natural level I'm just not able to comprehend from my PO…

I think it wouldn't be pleasurable if you knew 5 other guys who had sex with the girl last month. This is what I think of, when I read a 'slutty world' or whatever nonsensical phrase. And as long as this is not the case, you will always have to struggle a little bit to be different than those 5 other guys. There's this old rule, that if something is for everyone then it is for no one, and I fully agree with that. You appreciate it more, if you have to spend at least some energy on it. I'm not ta…

Well, I'm not sure if I'm gonna follow you on this one. Your nickname and comment kind of suggest that you're a serial masturbator. :) But jokes aside, I assure you there would be no pleasure if there was no effort/scarcity. And regarding shaming - please believe me on my word, but it most often comes from the females, not from the guys. Guys might say a word or two, but their network is usually very limited. On the other hand, if there are few "generous" girlfriends, all of the info travels aro…

As a guy, I think it's a great gesture. Still, have no clue why would you post it under 'seduction', as I assume this would be perceived as completely unpolarizing thing.

Lovely comment, I'm fully behind this as well. There's no bigger aphrodisiac than sincere interest, regardless of gender.

This is why you always hear that there are no 10s and you should not put anyone on pedestal. Social dynamics can be really unintuitive and you never know what you miss as long as you don't try to get it. Following on this, it's very probable that this super attractive girl is not that often approached and when she is, the guys come with some kind of 'strategy' and prepared approach. It can be really relieving to be approached by someone straightforward with honest intentions, even though he is p…

This is a perfect example of what Tim Ferriss mentioned in one of his books. Aiming for unrealistic you're very often more successful than aiming for regular, because average things attract more people and you have more competition. He even mentioned almost exactly your case in his blog post: " It’s lonely at the top. 99% of the world is convinced they are incapable of achieving great things, so they aim for the mediocre middle-ground. The level of competition is thus fiercest for “realistic” go…

I took a look and the whole sub looks tragic. Looking at the posts, I wonder what kind of experiences one has to have in order to be so defensive. It doesn't even make me angry or disturbed, it simply makes me sad. I definitely agree with you, you attract by giving. With this kind of attitude I would only expect self-fulfiling prophecies, as I cannot believe a normal guy would put up with so much passive aggression and toxic attitude.

Probably was a bit shy and/or defensive. Being invested in someone even before actually having a contact makes you vulnerable.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
