In this case, that person seems truly broking, something terrible might have happenned to her, you should have no reaction but pity. Especially since her speech is not problematic, she expresses a feeling and the only description she makes of the world is that "some men" are problematic, she might think it's most of them but she is not saying every man is, you are probably not included in her statement. And even if she was saying all men. It's like when one of your dear friends gets cheated on a…

It's okay to have standards, you have every right not to date "Men that tell their woman not to be insecure about porn, thirst traps on social media, exes and other women they’re friends with". If i was dating someone that preferred thirst traps on the internet than me I would 100% be insecure. I would expect my partner not to abuse those things, and I think many men would understand a partner feeling the same way. Not every men but nobody ever said that every men should be compatible to your st…

To be fair men do not only choose not to get higher education, good higher education is only opened for good grades, and boys tend to have worse grades overall. One could argue they are just not as good but it's not just that, they tend to have better results with anonymous exam papers, especially if the writting is neutral (like an exam made through a computer), they partially have worse grade out of discrimination. So boys don't get to persue higher education as easily not out of choice. On th…

I have done 3 cold approach in my life, got one instagram the other two were in relationships, i have never been as frightened in my life and would love to never do it again lol I don't agree with your initial sentence, school/work/social clubs are the best way to meet people, you have something to chat about, but the best idea would be when you are not locked up with the person so i would have avoid your immediat coworker for the upcoming decade Honestly I think 80% of the cold approaches are d…

"Yummy" ffs. More seriously, yes, however you look, being flirty will make people more interested in you, but being obvious will not, you know how people say to be mysterious, well i believe that's what they meant, ambiguity is key. If you behave like someone they could date, they might consider it more, but some people might be interested even if you don't flirt or anything. Also i do think flirting convey confidence and experience, which is usually what people are interested in when in comes t…

It kinda does though, like if you're mature enough, a safe choice is kind of a last choice, i'd say you're 50% sure of it being a last choice, unsafe choice is usually not the last choice, at all, as you have like 5% of it being the person you're gonna finish your life with. It's not so much that nobody will pick the safe in the first place, it's more that 90% of people choosing the unsafe choice will have to choose safe at some point because unsafe usually doesnt work out. I might be wrong abou…

I agree with the second half of your comment but on the first part what you say doesn't make sense I'm sorry, you got 4 categories of FGM, 2 of them are less or equally a problem as circumsicion, therefore MGM is less of a probleme than FGM ? But circumsicion is just one kind of MGM, if you were to chop the whole thing off, it would be MGM and probably worse than all 4 categories of FGM, that wouldn't make MGM worse then FGM though. Those are two issues that should be treated, no need to put a h…

Sorry for the long text. Was there some sort of study that predicted as much? My country hasn't legalized, it was an argument a few years back, seing how things turned out in countries where it was legalized it seems like it was a bad argument. All the data I've seen says the longer you go through life without any experience navigating this shit, the harder it gets. Are you sure that if we were to follow three groups "People that had sex before 30 from a non-money motivated person" "People that …

Destigmatizing this is like legalising weed. I'm okay with it as long as it actually reduce the consumption. Most people that stigmatize this just don't want it to exist or as little as possible for people that don't have a choice. But your argument is that it should be destigmatized so that more people would consume/sell. That the worst world possible for all people that have a bad view of it. There is no debate to me, if you want less of this to happen your should stigmatize, if you want more …

Yeah, i'm not sure it really applies nowadays, in my country most people do not believe in god, and if they do, it's not something they think of daily, they don't think of god as a watcher ready to write down every sin. "God forbid they look at a woman" come on, maybe in Saudi Arabia, but in the west ? I dont think it's purity culture. If single men could choose wether or not they had a new good looking partner in their bed tonight, they would say yes. If it was purity culture, fear of god, or f…

Why would that be hypocrisy ? If someone doesnt like a product and still consume it, the first reasonable explanation is addiction not hypocrisy, and considering how masturbation/sex impacts the brain, especially everything related to the reward system, addiction should definetly come to mind very quickly

"so many men do murder suicide" that's funny because women are actually responsible for most infanticides. So you might want to reformulate "sometimes, psychologically deranged men do murder suicide" because infanticide really doesn't represent a big proportion of men, one is already too many, but 5 isn't so many, you get what I mean.

Do you have statistics to support that? Because it just looks like stereotypes that were probably true 30-40 years ago, so maybe when you were a child but it doesn't seem accurate for children being born in the last 20 years, especially in the last decade, most young parents I know really try to have an equal share of the parenting burden

You don't get what I mean, but that's okay. I just meant that since there is no balance between men and women in their access to sex, legalizing paid access is obviously less favorable for one gender, women can have sex for free or be paid if they succeed, men can pay for sex or have it for free if they succeed. Yes some men are paid for sex and some women do pay for sex. But exceptions don't make rules or in this case the norm. That's the issue with the unfair balance, you cannot go look elsewh…

Is every country that puritan? In France it's weird to see a man in the women bathroom or woman in men bathroom but like some bathrooms are mixed so at the end of the day nobody really care, urinals are a problem but their usually covered enough so nobody going through the room would see anything. And like even if they did see something nobody would ever think of trying to contact that person through internet

"Is there a particular reason for this?" seems more suitable, "can you explain why that is" kind of sound like a teacher asking why you didn't do your homework but I'm no native English speaker so I might get it wrong.

I did, but usually those are not the kind of feminist you are thinking about. If they end up agreeing with you they are probably ill-labeled egalitarians. Honestly that's the biggest issue i have with feminism (stat out of my ass) 60% are real feminist is the way that they want women's life to get better and 40% are egalitarians that always fought feminism was only about equality. Usually those 40% think the 60% are a minority. And when confronted by one, the real feminist won't talk about men's…

Yeah it might be 13% of cancer are prostate cancer among men. I believe a lot of people die before having their first cancer especially in the least devlopped countries.

To be fair, I heard the prostate cancer happened usually when older than breast cancer, doesn't change that it should have way more visibility but that's still an important thing to know. Also I don't know about your country but I think in mine it is mandatory to get a finger in the ass to check your prostate when you are past a certain age.

Especially since it wasn't even at night, like 5pm for god sake. I wouldn't agree fi someone told me men should cross the street to avoid being creepy at night but I wouldn't insult the person I'm talking to. But in the afternoon? It mens can never walk freely, day or night

I do, but most of the time when a feminist mentions it, it's not. For instance toxic masculinity is not mansplaining because (to me at least) mansplaining is either just explaining if there is a need of explanation or just stupidity if there is no need, and men aren't more likely to uselessly explain stuff. But mocking someone for its virginity is toxic, and I do believe that men are more likely to mock virginity (not as much as in the past but still a little more but I might be wrong). Therefor…

Like it was mentioned in another comment it's more complex than that, for instance (according to said comment) research to fight breast cancer are more founded than research for any other cancer and prostate cancer (almost the equivalent for men) is far far behind. I'm not saying it is the opposite but it's complexe. I would had that a generalist might know more about men than women so you could conclude than women are forgotten but gynecology is way more advanced that whatever the equivalent fo…

Now you're being as bad as some of the worst feminists, listen to yourself. You can support a team without being part of it. You wouldn't attack a man for supporting MRAs from afar. That's actually the difference between being a MRA, and being an MRA supporter, as a supporter you are not an activist. You literally have the same mindset that feminist do. "You think you're a victim well my gender has it way worst" well you might doesn't mean she wasn't insulted. As a MRA you should be better than …

One shouldn't always defend women even when they are wrong, at risk of being a white knight. One should always defend another (man or woman) when another is right or didn't do anything wrong, that's called not being a dick. Except if he defends every women you have nothing to claim that he is a white knight. And since he is here I don't think he does. Me defending him isn't me being a white knight duh.. He doesn't sound bitter he is just explaining why the other guy is wrong, the upvotes seem to…

Oh come on! How am I the one to derail? Even you first comment wasn't really a answer to what I said.. Anyway what do you want me to tell you about my biases? Of course I have some, like you said it's for everyone. But why are you talking about that? I could be the most empathic person for woman yet it would only alter the way perceive each case it wouldn't change the fact that I heard and read about more women being "canceled" than men during this specific time period. Once again I would like t…

You might want to read the comment you responded to and your response because you appear to be toxic or at least "inefficient". You just want to argue with someone because you are bored, you didn't answer anything I said, you didn't. And you took one word and thought "could I argue with that word? Yeah it might have been used where it shouldn't have let's only talk about that" Also, clear thinking (and the truth) can be manipulated by emotions or empathy. If you only wish to find something to cr…

Ah yes, you can't have an opinion different from yours without being manipulated, great way of thinking. Lol. Also based on what do you assume that I feel that way because of my empathy for women? The fact that I heard about more women in this situation in that time period has nothing to do with empathy does it? Anyway it doesn't seem useful to answer you, it's obvious you are just looking for a fight, you don't argue you just want to say that other are wrong to feel better about yourself. If it…

The "probably" allows me to be based on nothing but still I was mainly referring to Hollywood and I heard about more women from this period then men. "heard" is not proof I agree but I said "probably" which means I'm not sure

I read the post, they are not talking about the current cancel culture but about what happened until the 2010'. And it hurts to say that but their not 100% wrong, men did suffer from cancel culture prior to 2010 but that was probably worse for women. On the other hand time didn't stop in 2010 and since then the idea of ignoring people became entirely against men. Also their wording is wrong, cancel culture is something new, it's what feminist (among others) use currently. Before that there was p…

Of course muscles are more important but high is also a big bonus, easier to hit the head and you can reach your opponent first. Fat weight is bit more complex, it can be an issue (harder to move for instance) but also a big ally (try to move a 140kg man). But you can't say that they play no role.
