I do want to know how we're supposed to see depth when we know nothing other than a glance at a person. I don't know you. Also, a number is a lot more precise than, "she's alright/she's pretty." Don't take it seriously, just like we try not to take it seriously. All we hear is, "he's hot," "he's cute," and or some version of "lol no/creep." It's just the same thing, but from a different perspective. Both sides can explain why we gave a certain number, but then you'll hear what we don't like and …

Let me put it this way. When we don't know anything about another, for example, personality, goals, past, anything and everything else, we kind of go off a numerical scale. This scale is not a be all end all. I've run into people who've numbered on the lower end and liked them a lot more, because of these other qualities. For some of us, the number is just a number at a glance. That's it. Some people do indeed focus way too much on it and others don't even entertain that numerical scale, while a…

They would no longer be my partner. They'd be packing their bags that day or I will, depending on who and who isn't on the lease. There will be no more talking about "the relationship" after that point. I'd like to quickly transition into our new, but separate, futures. I'd sincerely tell them that I hope the best for them and then leave it at that. I know this sounds heartless, but the other end already made a heartless expression. But let's answer your bullet points. I'd wish to know, so we ca…

This is why I do my best to do better, in my own way, which is a very slow process lol. I tend to keep to myself a lot, but I do actively talk to people and that keeps that coldness at bay. As for loving someone, I'm right there with you, but probably from a different starting point.

We do though. We find solace in actively working on something, participating in our hobbies, and hanging with our friends. This is a generalization, but we are weird when it comes to friendships. A friend and I could go months without talking to one another, but pick right up from where we left off, without missing a beat. It's just how some of us operate. Plus, I'm finding it hard fitting in activities around work, cooking my meals, climbing/working out, and my hobbies. I'm plenty booked up and…

Say what you will, but I've been single for over a decade and I believe this is the right course for me. This may change in the future, but I've become so accustom to being alone, but not lonely, and being content. I have other things to fill my time with and friends to make/hang with, at least until those friends move into their next phase in life (families).

You got to love the internet. Idiots from all over, believing in whatever one thing or the other, just leaving a trail of evidence behind, for their employers to find.

Sounds like my childhood, but with a Japanese parent. A metric fuckton of rice with anything and everything. Somehow, I still like it. My mom did her best to give us variety.

It's not that hard... I was like 220 a bit ago. Took in less calories than I needed on a daily basis. Calculated what my limit was for 1lb a week loss and 2lb a week loss. Then I made sure to stay under or go over a bit if I worked out that day. Slowly working my way down to 170 ish. Half way there.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
