Im not the one misdirecting. Whos definition of ad hominem is accirate, mine or yours? Will you acknowledge that? Or anything else I quoted you saying?

You are still going on about the one word I used?

Lol, you are the one using the u mad bro, To a 15 line post with more than one argument, you had "Again, insults over any actual substance to your response" to say." Or do you not remember what you just said? I merely brough up that you keep bringing up that I used the word extreme. Edit and you keep bringing it up, that was the majority of that nonsensical rant Are you reading what you are writing? There's an awful lot of double speak and plain inaccurate statements

I think if you insults had any effect I would have started cursing or attacking you. I haven't, actually I see your efforts to get under someones skin over the internet as pretty laughable

Yes, you saying "write with crayons," "are you high" "if I was a piece of shit like you" "drivel and morons" are personal attacks, and have no logical connection to the argument Are you saying I made an insult against you? Did I curse at all or specifically call you an insult? Did I say, you're schooling isn't complete blah blah? No, I respond to the critical points of your argument, not the immature way you present it

My skin is plenty think, I said they were insults, not that they had an effect Just because every word is not an insult, the "minority" of the words used doesn't dismiss the immaturity and attempt to derail the conversation. You criticize my level of schooling, but wont acknowledge that ad homenin means making personal attacks instead of responding with a logical argument Again, you know what a hypocrite is, then answer why "What I don't understand is, why can't you see that people are free to f…

When did I try to tell people how they should react to that situation? I merely reacted to someone saying they would be fine with the interviewer spitting in the interviewees faces and ending the interview. I am talking about this entire comment section, everything you have said. You say this whole episode is no big deal, and the guy should get over it. Others are saying that it was inappropriate. Again, these are your words "What I don't understand is, why can't you see that people are free to …

Again, insults over any actual substance to your response

Again, you are not discrediting the argument, you pick and choose what you want to respond to and use personal attacks, "The comments on this pathetic post have become laughably egotistic and unproductive. Have a great day morons." You attack the messenger, not the message https://yourlogicalfallacyis.com/ad-hominem

Lol, I mean, really? First you try to tell people how they should react to an observed situation, now it is which qualifying adjectives are acceptable? Do you remember writing this? "What I don't understand is, why can't you see that people are free to form opinions on the interviewer's reaction" ??? So why are you criticizing people who perceive the event differently from you? I'm trying to figure out the disconnect where your opinion is valid, but all others are inaccurate

I deleted my comment because I thought this was in response to one of my posts, but it seems pretty appropriate here I don't think you do: http://www.nizkor.org/features/fallacies/ad-hominem.html "An Ad Hominem is a general category of fallacies in which a claim or argument is rejected on the basis of some irrelevant fact about the author of or the person presenting the claim or argument. Typically, this fallacy involves two steps. First, an attack against the character of person making the clai…

An earlier post from me, second sentence I * it Lol, flattery will get you everywhere When the interviewers face got red, was that from joy, or excitement? Or from embarrassment? My opinion, based on his resulting body language, was that he was extremely uncomfortable.

Your insistent focus on one word I used is not conductive to a conversation either. You admit that you have personally experienced double standards when giving and receiving compliments, then I refer you to the title of this post and the whole point of why we are here Also, how can you use personal experience to justify one paragraph, then dismiss it in the second as in you don't have to experience things to know they are wrong. How can you justify your experiences to nullify my opinion? For whi…

He wasn't just told he looked good, for a national television broadcast they were pretty aggressive. That guy looked like he had a kidney stone, the way he kept shifting around, so I stand by my choice of words, if that is your major complaint Again, go host an interview yourself where you are subject to constant sexualized objectification, let's see how well you hold your composure

Lol, flattery will get you everywhere When the interviewers face got red, was that from joy, or excitement? Or from embarrassment? My opinion, based on his resulting body language, was that he was extremely uncomfortable. The context of his discomfort was unwanted, overt sexual approaches. If you are ok with this, well that's your right, and I look forward to your interview (edit: "I could do a better job") where hollywood a listers pick apart your appearance for their own gratification

Is he a professional interviewer, or a party host? He may very well be unskilled at his job, but that doesn't change the fact that the forum they all choose to converse in is typically a lot more professional than what was recorded Was the point of the whole thing to promote a movie or go speed dating at a bar?

Exactly, he was put on the spot and didn't know how to react, his face gets red, he is embarrassed. I said tried to be professional because he kept asking questions, which ultimately is for the benefit of the two actresses I've seen that comment other places, "he wasn't funny," as if the argument is, "he is well put together, so lustful advances should not be a big deal." Well, clearly it was Edit: less wells

Yes, it is the interviewer's fault for being put on the spot and trying to stay professional

I'm not so hopeful. The first paragraph she is fantasizing about the would be child, and the first thing she mentions is looks. Then she mentions intelligence, then humor. Imagine if she did have a daughter who was ugly/unintelligent/bland. I'm trying to figure which would be worse for the poor kid, being an unappreciated boy or unimpressive girl. The next sentence after the mention of the ultrasound is a tirade of disappointment Also, the author hopes the daughter is intelligent so she won't ha…
