This is a big part of it. Families in the 60's were eating wonderbread and jam, bacon and eggs, meat and potatoes. They also had 12 hour stretches with no eating at all. Snacking keeps insulin up which keeps your body in storage mode. I haven't changed my diet all that much but have been doing regular 36 hour fasts and suddenly I'm shedding fat. I like to think of a body as a plug-in hybrid. If you want to burn the gas in the tank you have to stop plugging it in all the time. Same with your body…

Except they are lying like the ladies on Fresh and Fit. They are just saying the politically correct answers because the truth isn't very flattering.

The boys team that beat these mediocre players should sue their respective governing body for the same deal these entitled brats received. It would make any sense... Which is still more sense than the original lawsuit.

I live in a smaller city in an area that has slightly above average home prices and other than a friendly wave or banal weather talk I know basically none of my neighbors. You should join some social or activity clubs instead. Rock climbing/bouldering, Woodworking, gyms or martial arts, heck even claywork/pottery. Literally try a few things at random and see what you enjoy and stick to one or up to a few. Good fences make great neighbors.

I just drink a meal replacement drink with some balanced macros and a large number of vitamins and minerals. I also have a protein powder drink on days I lift things up and put them down which is usually 5-7 days a week.

Be greedy when others are fearful and be fearful when others are greedy. I think it was a buffet quote but not sure. Also. You don't know who's swimming naked until the tide goes out. I can't remember who said that one but essentially what it's saying is that everyone is a good investor when the market is going up.

An interesting Youtube channel is Star Path Academy. He is from Romania and telling the story of how hyperinflation happened there and how his family survived. https://youtube.com/channel/UC_8LF-QrJc-3h_XcE2qQA9g There are tons prepper and homesteading channels all over the place. Some things to think about during an actual collapse. You aren't buying gold to trade during the event. You buy gold to store value thinking the event will end and society returns to normal. If everyone is scavenging f…

If you liked those you should try ItsComplicated Channel. Really great question series that bring out the double standards and delusion in people. https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCq1zuC3x4kJcJSJOE7yo-Qw

If you don't know much I'd suggest starting slow and getting the foundation ready for financial security later. Do you have any debt? If you are paying over 5% on anything you should be aggressively paying that off first. A car loan at 1.99% isn't that big of a deal and something backed by a sellable asset like a mortgage isn't either. Do you have an emergency fund? Usually people recommend somewhere in the 3-6 month range of expenses. Make sure this is somewhere safe and accessible. Then look i…

Working out and being fit does actually correlate with right leaning views. You can find multiple studies supporting it. It's obviously not as simple as you do a push up and suddenly grow a MAGA hat... But traits like discipline, personal responsibility, and sacrifice all are things that right leaning people tend to value and are things that also tend to help people stick with working out over the long term.

It's almost having experience with authoritarianism on both the right and left makes them understand how easy it is to fall to. Give no inches so they can take no feet.

The really interesting thing about this study wasn't just that wives initiate more divorces, most people already knew that. The real meat I found interesting was near the end when they stated that wives who reported they were better off divorced increased the chances of filing by about the same as men (10% or so). However, women were twice as likely to file if they reported the marriage as 'troubled' and 4 times more likely if they reported the marriage as 'unhappy'. Men however were not statist…

Thanks, I was reading some Hindu texts yesterday and today to see if I can find similar concepts there too. I saved your post for reference on what to read first.

TL;DR: resistance exercise, fasting works. I was a life long frail computer geek that was overweight according to the BMI but had very low muscle mass. I started exercising every single day, even if it was just for 10 minutes. Bands, weights, calisthenics... Doesn't matter. Just do something everyday. If it was a day I didn't feel like doing anything I would just do 3 rounds of 10 pushups, squats, and some ab thing like v-ups or leg lifts. After a few months it was obvious I was gaining muscle a…

Went to try to look these up and found the first one along with an interesting passage: "the Bodhisatta wove the three infamies into a single stanza, and made the wood re-echo with his sweet tones as he taught the truth in these lines: Cursed be the dart of love that works men pain! Cursed be the land where women rule supreme! And cursed the fool that bows to woman’s sway!" Looks like I have some major reading to do.

You can work out at home easily with very little to no equipment. You could buy a resistance band kit for under 50 bucks too. That way you get yourself to a point that you can really understand why the gym equipment is useful and if you even want it still. Jugs of things like large laundry soap containers filled with water are plenty heavy for beginners. Doing pushups too easy? Put 20lbs in a backpack and do more. Once you start seeing progress then join a gym and use the machines that are hard …

I'm in an LTR, but I can still manage my finances to be as little exposed to cash as possible. I've also been looking for some land somewhere within a reasonable distance from my house that could be a cottage if things go well or would be farm-able if things get bad. The fewer times in the breadlines the better.

I think the fastest pedal bike on pavement, unassisted, with no pace car providing a wind break was Sam Whittingham. Sam reached 81mph in Nevada. I think it was an enclosed bike though.

It usually goes something like this W - this man did this. M - I couldn't have, here is where I was and here is my alibi. W - oh, I lied because I'm scum and crave attention. DA - sorry for the inconvenience m'lady, you're free to go. M - but I lost my job, house, family, friends... I live in a van down by the river and it's going to be repo'd. DA - Be a man dude, wtf? Whine whine whine. If there were no proof either way or proof the action actually did happen then the case would either be dropp…

It's almost as if the benefits of the policies take a while to be realized and the policies don't immediately change the real world the second they are made.

You only hear about the really successful. There are tons making very little and a few making a huge amount. 99 people making 10 bucks while 1 makes a million the average income is 10009.90. Because there is a low limit of 0 and no upper limit the average skews much higher than the median. Funny how they don't care about equality/equity suddenly...

I went in to a casino with 60 bucks once and walked out with 260. That's about the only actual gambling I've done. Hit a number on a roulette table. Casino was fun but I understand the odds and was there with someone so we went in more as a 'lets blow some time and cash playing some games' rather that thinking we would win any money. I've won a few 50/50 things but mostly those are for charity so I will usually buy tickets if I support the thing and not to win money. I don't know if I would call…

No. Women are the gatekeepers of who has sex. To be attractive to many women a man must reach a high barrier of entry. Be tall, show financial prowess, be socially adept, be fit, etc. That's why it is seen as an accomplishment. For a woman she just has to say yes. There is no achievement for her. That's why it isn't respectable.

I think you are vastly underestimating both the number of simps and the ability for women to immediately join a harem for the men with resources. The top 10% of men would have 5+ women each, the next 10% would have 2-3. The next 20% would have 1... The bottom 60% of men would have nothing or be some form of resource slave to get scraps. You can tell this is what would happen based on DNA research. It turns out we have twice as many female ancestors as male because only about 40% of men reproduce…
/r/MGTOW27/04/21 03:27 PM

Absolutely. Have you seen stats on dating sites and sites like only fans? There are dudes lining up to shovel resources at average women. If women suddenly couldn't rely on men with guns taking others things to keep them afloat they would just lock down a guy that was previously invisible to them.

Unfortunately this doesn't help in Canada. Recently there was a case where a man was ordered to pay even though there was no co-habitation or kids together. https://globalnews.ca/news/7327501/couple-no-home-no-kids-spouses-ontario-court/

Islands are attainable for regular people even today. You can regularly find smaller ones for a camp or cabin for under 50k. Of course if you want acreage and blue tropical water it will be more, but just a place to go when you want to say F U to the world is within reach if you are patient.
