Third variables: the demographics that typically use this app are typically younger and their motives centered around easy sex and casual dating. Anyone who has used that app knows that it’s basically like tinder... people are there for casual sex and flings. Nobody is really looking for a serious relationship.

Dating apps aren’t necessarily bad. If you live in a smaller town or smaller city, dating apps are actually pretty important!

Someone recently made GTOW, so MGTOW may soon have some competition!

I agree with many things on this list (especially #2 — relationships are incredibly exhausting), but isn’t hooking up just contributing to the problem MGTOW is constantly acknowledging? No guy wants a partner that rode the CC and got sketchy STDs from hookup culture, but then you go on to partake in it. Something doesn’t add up.

Give them a chance. If he really wanted to stay in the royal family, I’m sure he would’ve refused. Live and let live, don’t assume they’ll end up like many other celebrity couples. Time will tell.

Awesome! I hope this really takes off. It’s past due time for someone to separate people that respectfully disagree with conventional marriage/want to stay single, from the crazy sexist neck beard portion of MGTOW and extremist anti-male feminists.

A woman who’s not attracted to guys. I can understand a younger guy not wanting to date someone older than him. That said, a 45-year-old guy has little in common with a 20-year-old. It would be creepy for a much older dude to marry someone young enough to be his daughter. Also, those sorts of cutoffs are often arbitrary cutoffs MGTOW picks based on their idea that women beyond a certain age are “used up.” There are 25 year old (and older) virgins out there. Not all of them are players and whores…

I don't care for circuses either. I'd never legally marry.

I worked with people in the pure sciences and am Christian: both of those groups have plenty of virgins!

I'm not straight. I'm not attracted to guys.

This only applies to straight couples that want many kids. Not every single 25+ year old is a "used up" player or whore.

On these subreddits: guys be like “I’m 30 and want an 18-year-old wife.” IRL: Guys be like “18, no education beyond high school, no career and you still look 14. Next!”

If he wanted an 18-year-old wife, he should’ve taken dating seriously in high school. Guys complain they can’t find a girl, but insist on marrying someone just at the age of consent who has little in common with an older guy. 28 isn’t old.

28 is young! Even if you met at 25, in three years you’ll both be 28. It’s not like you’ll be 25 forever. Those 3 years don’t make much of a difference. If these MGTOW guys want an 18-year-old wife, they should’ve started taking dating seriously in high school and found their high school sweetheart.

Right! Which is what I mean by incompatibility. Men can be choosey too! That's fine!

20-something with a 50-something. You could be her dad! Aren't you the slightest bit concerned about her motives?

Sorry you had to deal with that. I wish people would be honest with their partners. Hopefully you find a better match!

Not all women sleep around and participate in hookup culture. There are women out there that feel similar to MGTOW in reference to the hookup culture. I feel like this is more of an incompatibility issue. It can be tough to find a compatible partner (particularly if you live in a smaller town.) I don’t have an answer, but I believe better pinpointing the problem will be beneficial in developing and implementing solutions.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
