Those celebrities who marry promiscuous women are just trust-fund babies without a ounce of masculinity; and the constant cheating, divorces, and scandals that occur amongst those nasty elites of Hollywood should stand as proof of that. Elon Musk is indeed a hyper-successful man, but his fame, fortune, and internet following won't change the fact that he's a man-child.

This type of thinking can limit us to a false dichotomy; as if it's either psychiatry or sports that can miraculously solve a troubled young man's problems. Men's suicidal tendencies and many other problems need not necessarily be a brain chemical imbalance or physical inactivity, rather they could be a result of living in societies where masculinity is severely demonized, or where men get blamed for problems they are not responsible for, and the list goes on.

The problem is that the moderation is more concerned with civility and the personal remarks made in the comments -instead of being concerned with the actual quality of the comments made. So many men here suggest that they lie on dating apps about height, salary etc.. If you're a confident man just own it; any woman who is shallow enough to judge on this nonsense isn't worth the time. Though I'd also have no problem recommending men lie, only if that's what they're comfortable doing.

That is correct, we cannot always generalize, but we still see a certain percentage of a given population tilting towards a certain set of characteristics. For example, if we observe the population of disgusting worthless promiscuous women aged 30+, we'll see that they are more likely to be depressed than not over her hopeless situation. Exceptions exist, but that shouldn't prevent us from drawing conclusions on a certain set of a population.

This is an extreme overgeneralization. If marriage is really that horrible, then why are tens of millions of Americans still happily married? The 50% divorce does not tell the full story; far too many are too stupid, stubborn, and weak-willed enough to marry the wrong toxic women, it's not the monolithic group of women that is somehow corrupt in America.

have no problem recommending that women lie. There wouldn't be a need for recommendations; promiscuous women are immoral enough to lie by their nature, that's why intelligent men avoid them in the first place. Any competent man could spot a low quality woman from a mile away based on her acts and would read between the lines as opposed to taking her words as face value, much like how a church-going nice guy would.

I think most misogyny and misandry is a combination of selection and monolith bias; people get exposed to a few bad apples, and due to our nature to remember bad events over the better ones we develop a bitter attitude towards the opposite gender. This is further exasperated by our tendency to avoid self-criticism; we would like to remember the faults in the opposite gender more than that of our own, and this preserves our ego leading to an unfair assessment of the opposite gender.

You continuing to label her as a bigot is also your own projection. For all you know, she has tried to cope with these issues but is unable to overcome the emotional trauma she's built up over a period of time. Casting a negative characterization over a population based on the observations derived from a few bad examples is the very definition of stereotyping, as she was doing, and that is similar to bigotry.
