Women lie about their partner preferences. They self-report preference for intelligent and ambitious men, but they chose the most attractive ones ignoring other traits.Well, maybe you’re right. Maybe I’m just a jaded person. It’s something to think about at least. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/04/23 02:03 AM
Women lie about their partner preferences. They self-report preference for intelligent and ambitious men, but they chose the most attractive ones ignoring other traits.Well, now we’re circling back to my original point. Which apparently you’re not understanding or I wasn’t clear enough. I refer you to my first reply. The line we’re discussing is drawn in two different places, depending on if you have a male or female perspective | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/04/23 12:59 AM
Women lie about their partner preferences. They self-report preference for intelligent and ambitious men, but they chose the most attractive ones ignoring other traits. When did I ever say it was okay for one person to make their emotions their partners responsibility? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/04/23 12:38 AM

Women lie about their partner preferences. They self-report preference for intelligent and ambitious men, but they chose the most attractive ones ignoring other traits.Where’s the line drawn? How much emotions are okay to show before it gets to trauma dumping? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/04/23 12:24 AM
Women lie about their partner preferences. They self-report preference for intelligent and ambitious men, but they chose the most attractive ones ignoring other traits. You’re getting hung up on something I’m not even arguing. Let me be clearer then: Women view ANY emotional vulnerability as “trauma dumping”. Whether it is or not. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/04/23 12:05 AM
Women lie about their partner preferences. They self-report preference for intelligent and ambitious men, but they chose the most attractive ones ignoring other traits. That’s not the point I’m trying to make. Obviously there’s a difference, my comment is pointing out the hypocrisy of women asking for men to open up emotionally, and then when they finally do, calling it “trauma dumping” and saying “I’m not your therapist”. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/04/23 11:53 PM
Women lie about their partner preferences. They self-report preference for intelligent and ambitious men, but they chose the most attractive ones ignoring other traits.Yeah, that’s why I said “I think we can all agree”. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/04/23 11:49 PM
Women lie about their partner preferences. They self-report preference for intelligent and ambitious men, but they chose the most attractive ones ignoring other traits.I’m not disputing that. I’m saying that women ask men to open up and show their emotions, and when he does, she calls it “trauma dumping” and says stuff like “I’m not your therapist”. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/04/23 11:36 PM

Women lie about their partner preferences. They self-report preference for intelligent and ambitious men, but they chose the most attractive ones ignoring other traits.I understand and agree with what you’re saying. I think that men and women have a different expectation of what “opening up” and “showing emotions” really is. Some men have emotional baggage, and I think we can all agree that 90% of them don’t have a healthy way of dealing with it. So, when a partner says “Open up to me! You can be emotionally vulnerable with me.” Men take that at face value. They share their fears, their past trauma, the things that bother them internally everyday. All the thin… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/04/23 10:08 PM
Women lie about their partner preferences. They self-report preference for intelligent and ambitious men, but they chose the most attractive ones ignoring other traits. That first link, the commenters call OOP misogynistic and completely wrong, while simultaneously proving him right by saying “There’s a difference between opening up and being used as a therapist!” The lack of self awareness is amazing. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/04/23 09:39 PM

Voluntariliy single/celibate people: How do you get your emotional intimacy needs met?Family and friends. They give me all the emotional connection I need. Although my desires are low to begin with. I don’t feel lonely or touch deprived at all, I’m just not a lovey dovey, touchy-feely kinda guy. My need for intimacy is far outweighed by my desire to be independent. Like I enjoy doing my own thing, when I want to. Dating is all about compromise and work. I can’t fuck with that unless I’m super into you. But how do you get to that point without dating right? If you really get that … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 21/06/22 08:43 PM
Lifting aside, what activities/hobbies do you do to raise your SMVIf you can get a good teacher at a decent price, IRL lessons are killer. Especially when you're first starting out. They can help you develop good habits that will stick with you for life. After a month or two, I don't see the point in continuing lessons unless you're planning to do something with music theory or as a career. Learn the fretboard on your own time and learn how to play music that you like. The best motivation to practice everyday is when you start to learn how to shred like your f… | /r/askTRP | 10/05/18 04:27 AM
