I’ve been there, and it sounds like you may need to work on feeling more secure and confident within yourself. You sound like a great woman, even if a little guarded, and I say that with kindness. Would you ever consider speaking with a therapist? There are also so many great books and resources that can help you reconnect with your worth and value. I personally love the ebooks by Lady Alba on Instagram (@ceoalba). She talks about finding a gentleman, investing in yourself, and building the life…

It’s still early on, sucks but leave before you get way more invested. Plenty of great men who will be proud to tell their parents about you and plan a future together

Of course it’s hurtful, and I’m really sorry you’re going through this. It makes sense that you feel confused, especially if he was consistent before and then suddenly changed. But even if there’s a reason behind it, the lack of communication is still something to pay attention to like u said. You deserve someone who doesn’t leave you guessing ❤️❤️🌹

He’s not being consistent at all and that is something to pay attention to, not try to fix or figure out. Bring your energy down to zero w him.

Fall back and stop initiating/reaching out. Focus on yourself, your life and others who are investing in you.

Have you thought of couples therapy? Can be a good reset and help you view the relationship differently.

Thanks for responding 💕 I’m in a similar situation where my partner also has trust fund/family money, but I’m still trying to navigate what that looks like realistically long term. My past partners have really provided and taken care of everything, and while I’m sure that can happen with time, this dynamic feels different for me. I’m still working in my career (private aviation) but when I become a mom I know I can’t be away this much, so I’d either need to be a SAHM or switch careers. Also, it’…

What did you do for work before becoming a SAHM? Did you know early on that he was someone you wanted to marry? Has he always been a provider, and did you feel comfortable asking for support in the beginning? Was he already in a position to provide this lifestyle when you met, or did you have to be patient while he built his career and wealth?

“Hey love, can I ask you something while you’re relaxing? I’ve been feeling a bit stressed lately, and I realized why. When I do our laundry, I’ve been using pliers to work the dryer, and it honestly makes me anxious. I’m worried I could hurt myself. It would really put me at ease if you could fix it. Would you be able to help with that tonight? Knowing it’s taken care of would help me relax and sleep so much better.”

Don’t feel stupid - It’s not a mistake it’s just something to learn from in the future, you did nothing wrong. Being open and liking someone is a good thing.

Honestly it just sounds inconsistent like he’s met someone else. I’d move on and focus on someone who’s consistent, actually makes the effort to plan real dates, and shows genuine interest in getting to know you, not just someone who wants an ego boost by telling his stories. Real wealth doesn’t need to be announced btw, If a guy has to say he’s a millionaire, that’s just super cheesy.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
