You need to acknowledge something quite painful: You can't change people. You can influence, you can be an example, you can lead and you can inspire. But you can't change people. First of all, give professional therapy a chance. Realize you're only 18 (it matters). I agree with you, you don't need to focus on women at the moment. You'll have plenty of time to enjoy them later. Focus on re-building yourself, getting that peace of mind. Take care of your body, develop your interests and hobbies, invest time in healthy relationships/friendships. Take a breath kid, you just started out and the process never ends. Good luck.
