What legal rights do men enjoy that women don't?

Except for all the bs about the 'gender pay gap.' Number of degrees is meaningless. Control for sub-specialty, willingess to negotiate, actual hours worked, and (lack of) time off, and there is no 'gap.'

I loved the Vikings documentary where they claimed that the Viking invasions were caused "by toxic masculinity" because all the Viking Chads at home had multiple wives. Could have v easily just as said they were caused by female dating strategy.

Just like all the complaints on what they spend on makeup, shoes, and purses....Guys could give a rats ass. No normal dude wants or expects you to look like you came off the set of the Kardashians or Jersey Shore

Thats why i establish expectations up front: Texting is for logistics or conveying info that is immediatly relevant--i.e. "i'm here"; "need milk.and eggs too"; "running late; eta 1 hr.".. You want to talk? Call or come over.

Maybe if they didnt date fuckbois, they wouldn't get hurt to begin with. They waste their best years and then pine for what they threw away.

So true. Have witnessed this many times. Bare minimum qualifications plus a nice face and ass prevail over brains.

'Mansplaining' is now as meaningless as every other 'ist' and 'ism'. Just means 'straight white guy said something i didn't like. I had a female attorney accuse me of 'mansplaining' when the simple fact was she didn't understand the contours of the objection she was making.....

Once had a girl.just bounce when she saw my post divorce apartment....mattress on the floor, a coffee table, a chair, a dresser, a stereo, and small tv and no furnishings. She asked if i had ever been homeless.

Why is gender disphoria the only mental illness where the treatmentcis to indulge in the patients mental delusion and forcec everyone else to pretend its real?

Spot on. 90s--00s it was totally normal to try and 'shoot your shot' with co-workers, people you knew from friends of friends, even friends, snd strangers. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. As long as you were cool sbout it, no one ever said you were 'creepy.' You had 'blind' vibefinding dates that were hit or miss, but usually if it was a 'normal' date there was a shared attracation to begin with. Most people also expected that a second-third date indicated serious potential. Not common…

But modern politcs is based on group identification--race, sex, etc. and assumes anyone from a given demographic has the same viewpoints and values; if you don't, then you are a 'traitor.'
/r/MensRights19/08/22 06:19 PM
17

Precisely. Agreement is viewed as a sign or moral worth. 20 years ago when I was in college, I would have vigorous debates with my friends about politics and philosophy during class and at all night drinking sessions. Debate could becoms heated and often we would agree to disagree....but we never thought someone was a bad person or morally repugnant because we disagreed with them. Only the most radical ideologues acted that way. Today its par for the course.

Old dude here..46...divorced.....this looney shit has spread everywhere. I have no interest in dating or trying to 'pick up' women anymore, esp. intoxicated women. And esp. not anyone who goes to a bar and the first thing they do is mark themselves 'safe' on facebook.
/r/MensRights19/08/22 02:23 PM

Part of it is because ctitical thinking and real debate has been banished from universities. It used to be a sign of an educated mind to be able to entertain an opposing view, understand it, and then reject it based on reason and logic. Now, even discussing 'out of narrative' viewpoints gets you shamed and labelled as an 'ist.'

I know several people who were not going to vote or had real reservations about Trump and said 'fuck you lady' after her 'basket of deplorables' comment. I honestly don't think he would have won but for that comment.

Anal retentive: Adj. Someone who is overly orderly and fussy.
/r/MensRights18/08/22 04:43 PM

Anal retentiveness, defensiveness, overly combative, arrogant, generally unpleasant disposition, detachment, inability to empathize and process emotions, being generally high strung and stressed out.

To further clarify.... being educated and able to fend for yourself are basic requirements for a relationship with most educated career-oriented men. Most men do not want someobe who stays at home and is dependent on them. So education and career ...just like absence of criminal record, no kids from a previous relationship.. get you a seat at the table. But none of those things by themsrlves make a guy want to sleep with you or select you as a mate.
/r/MensRights18/08/22 03:50 PM

Depends. Doctors don't tend to have a lot of free time. Same with lawyers. Those professions also attract people with certain personality traits that aren't necessarily desireable in a relationship.
/r/MensRights18/08/22 03:44 PM

Hold up...i am not saying women shouldnt get advanced degrees or pursue career success. Definately not saying women need a provider. My point is simply that your degree and career does not affect your sexual attractiveness.

My ex was like this... couldn't pre plan moves, refused to 'make her own space' and had to wait for empty roads before changing lanes and would then get pissed that 'people won't let me in. '
