I have not seen these statistics and they most probably are correct. But, as in my country there is not suit like gender quotas, we simply fire incompetent women (or rather they do not pass their trial period). Again, being competent is not the same as genius. I was watching a video of a particular (female) singer I liked much. To my surprise, the video depicted a scene of domestic violence where the men abused the woman and a girl. Read your contract. For my card, each transaction generates interests until fully paid out. For example, if I spent $2000 and repaid $1999.99 it still generates interest as if it was $2000. So for me, fully covering the oldest transactions is the best way. Of course, this is for my particular kind of credit card, issued by my particular bank.
