I will say that I have many female friends who have ADHD but whose councilors refuse to acknowledge it. -1	An outsider’s gripe. The point of the beauty and the beast analogy was to explain why I found the anti male arguments so annoying and inherently sexist, not to say women have it harder. It was never my intention to downplay men’s issues, and rather the whole point of it was that the false feminists are demonizing men needlessly. 0	An outsider’s gripe. Look, I’m not blind to issues facing men. I’m 100lbs soaking wet ffs—the idea of “you must be strong to be attractive” has been the bane of my self esteem for my entire life. I’m horribly insecure about genetic things I can’t control because they don’t match the standard of masculine attractiveness. No, thank you, and you get the point entirely—although I would still argue that the fact that Belle is able to “tame the beast” is still normalizing the idea that women tame the beasts of men, which I have issue with. I discount the whole trying to kill him thing partially because they’re seen as an angry, murderous mob—villains more than anything else, and are encouraged by Gaston, whose primary stake in this is jealousy. -4	An outsider’s gripe. Alright, I explained this badly. What I was referencing a factor that caused inequality, the disparate portrayal of women and men in popular media, AKA a Disney film.
