Yeah it's so gay to talk to another adult like a person instead of dealing with absolutes. While this may be r/Divorce_Men if I were you'd I'd go back to slumming on r/MeatyVaginas you weirdo.

Religion often forces people to stay in unhealthy marriages because "God" or the divorce reason is not religiously sanctioned. So I'd say religious marriages may last longer because secular marriages don't have those constraints and both parties can split without any social or religious backlash.

Will your kids have memories of being in Iceland with her? No. They will have spent quality time with you and have special memories of you. I know it sucks not being able to experience travel, but I'm telling you that in the long run, it will be far more valuable. Focus on yourself: physical, mental, and emotional health. And don't worry about finding someone else, focus on yourself and kids. The rest will come later in time

And this is why arranged marriages should not be a thing.

Nothing wrong with enjoying cosmic karma come back to someone, but if you want the moral high road suit yourself.

No judgement here, but women are more than just physical pleasure. I understand you're reluctant to enter a new relationship, no rush in doing so. But is that the path you want to go? Will you be fulfilled in doing so or will you continue to harbor the pain of a previous relationship? My advice is just focus on yourself, it takes time to heal and I think men in society are often not told that enough.

I have an awesome marriage but it's not perfect. It takes constant communication and work. We are both imperfect people. You sound like your entire post is just whining and throwing away a marriage because you are too immature to understand that people can and do change all the time.

People don't change? Yeah I'd file for divorce, you're obviously not mature enough for an adult marriage. Real adults work their problems out, you will never be in a perfect relationship. They all require sacrifice and time. People absolutely change, I'm living proof.

If your wife had been in a car accident rendering her unable to have children, would you abandon her? You want to dissolve your relationship over something she is ENTIRELY out of control over. I see guys post in this sub that have truly awful spouses. Then when I see posts like this I wish you had a close friend that could beat some sense into you. Everyone here is so quick to suggest divorce. But how will that teach/change your limited perspective? Marriage is a battle, and allowing this issue …

Well I am into guns, gardening, and I have a PS4. I saw your comment about losing a lot of your mutual friends. Probably an odd thing to suggest but if you ever wanted to hop on PS4 just to talk/vent I'd be down. I am married, never divorced but I have been at the breaking point of ruin. This sub has actually helped me on my own marriage oddly enough...anyways, best of luck man.

I am not qualified in anyway to give life advice but let me ask you this, what are you looking for exactly? There's no such thing as a perfect spouse, we have to take our partners flaws and work on it together. So your next relationship is doomed to fail if it's because you don't presently feel satisfied. Marriage is the hardest thing anyone can do in life, it takes tremendous work. Might I suggest you try to find another solution before divorce? A marriage counseling session at the very least. …

It's manly to cry, we have emotions, we feel things. Fuck what society says is socially acceptable. We are humans and we are hurting. Sorry you are going through this.

Disagree, you can go on vacations, trips, or date nights without bringing a teenager with you. There are times for family vacations but it's important for him and his new partner to spend time together. As OP said, this was not a vacation. But implying the OP doesn't consider his daughter #1 is a bit of a stretch. It sounds like hormones could be the culprit here, and she is just a teenager going through a lot right now.

Yeah she's a big girl, cut her off. Especially if she can't have a relationship with you or show appreciation.

Not all sushi is raw, that's a misconception. In fact, I like most of my rolls fried. Also plenty of Asian cultures eat heavy seafood based diets and last I checked they are not having issues repopulating.
