(Reversing genders on a movie in theaters near you.) I think you have to allow a bit of wiggle room for the violence here. Shows have to exaggerate the violence to make the point. Otherwise you might argue that Looney Tunes cartoons promote animal cruelty or action movies promote violence against everyone. 1	The REAL reason saying things like... "YOU PLAY LIKE A GIRL!".... is insulting to a man. ----- (hint: its not because society hates women...) I think a boy being told he looks/acts like a girl, or a girl being told she looks/acts like a boy, can be taken as an insult not because of some perceived dislike of the other gender, but because the target is being told something that contradicts with their own idea of who they are. 1	Man-hating? Women just aren't up to the task. I would think that people base their self worth on their own successes and failures in relation to those around them, their peers.
