Which isn't an excuse to perform immoral experiments, or a defense of those who do.

If the principle of science is amoral why do we always practice science with ethics in mind? You could argue that anything is amoral- a you can build a house just as well if you use slave labour, or run a perfectly functional state as a violent dictatorship. You don't get to just ignore something wrong because you want to benefit from it. Any good scientist would condemn an immoral experiment, even if something useful was learned. No-ones introducing morality where it doesn't belong, they're jus…

Science isn't amoral, pretty much every experiment with moral implications has to pass an ethics board. Every action with consequence is subject to morality. Amoral is just a word people use here to skirt past the shittyness of their actions.

"Women are children" was a sticked mod post for several days at the top of this subreddit. I'm sure everyone who read it is now greatly self improved.

I think the implication of the blog is not "raising girls to know how to maintain a house"- all kids should be taught that- it's "raising girls so they grow up to be home makers" Also, it only talks about raising girls as home makers. There's nothing wrong with a woman wanting to be a home maker but the blog reinforces the idea that women should be staying at home and men should be out to work.

So if she says the word "no"... she isn't actually saying no.

Because of two things: 1: I like women and theres a lot of sexism around here 2: The twisted thinking and broken logic hurts my brain.

See there it is again. Someone dislikes us? Must be because he can't handle it, not that he doesn't like it. Don't you see the assumptions there?

Are these people your neighbours or something? Because you seem to know everything about them with absolute certainty. It's an interesting way to argue- to simply state your conclusion as fact. Use the word "Obviously" a few times and you can just be right all the time. I didn't realise that this is how you people have managed to keep the jerk going for so long. What an interesting learning experience in human stupidity.

Don't you just love it when they set up Straw Man arguments? "Immediately sets up a fictitious argument in order to attack to prove himself right, thereby committing the straw-man fallacy as well as an ad hominem attack for good measure" There's a good reason she doesn't want her boyfriend to be like you.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
