Buy your parents tickets to a play or something thats on a specific date once confirming that shes free on that night. Obviously have to make the gift to your parents inconspicuous. Maybe "my friends dad gave these to her and she didnt want them." Or if its their birthday or an anniversary. Get them out of the house together. Just a suggestion. Im by no means someone you should ever take advice from. I put ketchup on my steak sometimes.

I just have to make sure the words i say that break that silence will be said with patience and confidence. “Oh yeah definitely.” ...crickets... ... -calmly- “So what do you think?” “About what?” “This place. The one i struggle with is presence as you call it. Id say my strength is reading peoples body language and choice of words and tone. So i get in my head too much to where everything i say is so calculated that I’m not even myself anymore. I have a date tuesday and ill remember to stay in the moment where i physically am, not in my head and not in their head either. Thanks beastly guy.
