I mean that's true, but that's why the smartest people often have a hard time being successful in many aspects of life. Being confident is an evolutionary trait that helps you to pass on your genes by taking risks or die trying. Sometimes you have to punch above your weight to be successful.

Probably depends on the one, but although highly exaggerated they can demonstrate how to show a woman you want her while still maintaining frame and emotional tension. The basis of those books usually goes something like: the man is obsessed with the woman but he's also mysterious, and always in complete control of the situation.

I grew up the same way. It's not about forcing yourself to tell people stuff, it's about having less of a filter (within reason) and enjoying the moment. It feels good to let it out. Basically be the person you can't necessarily be at work. I would call this having sex appeal rather than beauty but still probably one of the most important pieces of advice on this sub. Most guys aren't ready to hear it. Even beauty can be unapproachable. This was a game changer for me. It is true for women too. Being a 10/10 6'2" model will get her attention but an average looking guy with this type of energy can make her wet with a handshake and a smile.

I think "be yourself" is the right message but there's more to it than just doing nothing. If you don't know who you are or where you are currently heading in life, how can you possibly be yourself? Humans need change to grow it's against our nature to stay the same. The quality of the cut can contribute to the value of a jewel but what's even more important is the rarity. One can only be rare by being themselves and not trying to be someone else, otherwise we just all becomes fools gold. A guy …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
