So sorry to hear your story mate, it really is a familiar one. It also seemed like she tried to justify her shitty behaviour with 'shortcomings' on your behalf. If she really was that upset then she should have broached the topic with you before cheating, and told you she wasn't happy and then work through it. Alas, she seems to have checked out and was monkey branching. Very common and shitty. My ex did the same, fucked a couple of different blokes. Has since apologised to me but not sincerely.…

Sorry to hear this bro. I had a very similar situation. 10 years and married. She cheated and wanted time and space to continue getting dicked down by more than one AP. I filed for divorce when I wanted her back (god knows why I wanted her back, hindsight is 2020). But negotiated for her to leave and I keep the house - trying to hold on to it on a single income. We also have a kid, 50-50. Luckily the arrangements went amicably, she got what she wanted and I didn't lose the asset. And she did me …

Been there mate, took her 8 months to move out after being gaslit and having her multiple cheating justified while having to somehow defend even though I wasn't at fault. I also wanted to repair things but she had exited the relationship many months or even years prior, as has your spouse. The positive thing is that it will get better, especially once you're living in different spaces. The only thing I regret is not having her move out sooner. The only way is up from here. Good luck.

She initiated separation/ time and space to do her thing with other people. And I initiated divorce (which she was quick to agree to).

Interesting take and thank you for sharing. Been through the same a long time ago when I had an open relationship. The other girl was such fire in my blood. It wasn't cheating but it sure felt like it. My ex wife did the same and felt no guilt. Eventually my ex cheated properly after we closed the relationship and had a child. A couple of APs sadly. I think once Pandora's box is open for either there is no going back well and truly. I realised I had developed codependency and am also reading 'No…

Have a look at my posts, went through a similar thing with her living with me, separated from me and cheated in the last few months. She has checked out my brother, and you are playing catch up. In my case she was happy to stay living in the same situation even in the same bed while seeing other people. She is still here but I filed a while back and am trying to get her out the door. It's horrible, but seems like a case of 'walkaway wife'. It's hard, look after yourself first and your kid. If yo…
