A lot of guys are too hung on up on ethnicity. I guess I could see it being an issue in certain cities in the south that are generally liberal, but still southern enough that there might be some conscious or unconscious barrier for white girls to date colored men. I remember going on that sub 3-4 years ago, and that's what it was like. But isn't the goal to get reactions? Not in the way you are thinking, where you just something that does x in order to get the other person to do/think y. You want people reacting to you, generally speaking. But because you do things that make sense to you and make you feel good, not because you do things you think will get reactions. The latter is superficial, weak, and temporary.
